I really like the Special Hobby kits, these limited run kits has its own challenges but makes you a better modeller once you come out the other end. This kit looks superb!
You are absolutely correct on both counts!
I bought two of these kits in a closing down sale, started one, did a cracking job on the cockpit tub if I do say so myself, fitted it into one half perpendicular to the fuselage and when fitting the other fuselage it was well off vertical, I would add this after joining the fuselage halves, oh and one of the top wing sections was about 2mm shorter than the corresponding lower one piece wing.
Thanks for the heads-up on that. I've heard there are some challenges with this kit. But it's not a Tamiya, so I would expect that.
Steve Johnson Thanks
Would probably be hard to find that but I’d love to get that kit.
It's an interesting subject that gets overlooked by most manufacturers.
Howdy !!!ive not built any large scale planes yet, looks good :)
Hey Craig. It looks good but there are a few areas that can use some detailing. It's also not too big for the shelf, as space is also a concern. Haha
I’ve built the old testors 1/48 C130, not many bigger than that I’m thinking!
@@craigfresch575 that would be a big beast!!!
Good choice for a 1/32 kit. I was thinking about it but, I’m still on the fence.
I've heard there are some fit issues with the intake trunks and lower wing. But that is just a little more of a challenge. It is a very cool subject that doesn't seem to be done very often.
@@fuzzysghostmodels9840 I could see that. Right now, I can’t find one for a good price.
@@mikemontgomery2654 they are about there some where.
