He ran 1 hour for the first half and the second half in 106 50. The first half tells us his legs still have youth. The second half of the Marathon tells us that he is a warrior. Conclusion, Eliud Kilchoge is warrior that has seen many battles, his body treads on, age does throw daggers at him at times, some wounds deeper than others. But the scars will heal, and once again the warrior is reborn, defying yet again what is possible. Nothing is impossible. Believe
Kipchoge's time was just over a minute slower than the American marathon record. Still world elite and only 8 months away from setting masters world records.
Kelvin was super human, marathon without him is a body without soul now. Missing kelvins performance & the question what if he ran at his peak around 28 or 30 .. he went off when he was just starting at 23
Everything here with Kipchoge is exactly what I expected. I told you guys 2 years ago that elete athletes peak out at 38 years old. After 40, times fall off significantly! All of you know it alls, never responded when I told you this. Try to get the research that I’ve done for 25 years into your heads! DONT EXPECT GREAT THINGS OUT Of YOUR RUNNING HEROS AFTER 39!!
Sounds logical - also just a pattern of running times dropping over the years anyway. Seems like a lot of distances are being smashed - women's 5 000-10 000m, men and women marathons, half marathon. Seeing more men capable of hitting low 2 hour marathon, EK would've had more competition if he was now 34 anyway.
Father Time is undefeated. I don’t think the term world record and Eliud Kipchpge will be tied together as they have historically been. Kipchpge has lost 2 of his last 3 marathons. He placed his lowest ever in Tokyo and ran his slowest ever in Boston. Yesterday Kipchoge was beaten by 4 other Kenyan runners. It begs the question on if you remove all of his accolades is he currently one of the best options to represent Kenya during the Olympics? I think kipchoge is the goat but his average time over the last 3 marathons is over 2:05 that wouldn’t place him in the top 3 in the world currently.
Regarding the positive split: Could it be a strategic move to get rid of Kipchoge? The top 3 runners simply believed that they would handle the fast pacing better than Kipchoge?
Still mourning over Kelvin. I think it’ll still be a while until the “what if” situations die down in my mind every time we see marathon races.

Kipchoge must be well into his 50s now (real age).
We miss you you kiptum
Kiptum’s death set the marathon world back 5-10 years at least
Nope
1:59 neos project remember🫣
all the legendary runner Kips
As great as Kipchoge is, I think he's now on the decline.
🤨wdym blud the best in the world are still human
@@michaeldanvers7286 what does that have to do with what they said lmao
He won he last race in
Berlin didn’t he , this was just to get set up for Paris
@@michaeldanvers7286that was his point

He ran 1 hour for the first half and the second half in 106 50. The first half tells us his legs still have youth. The second half of the Marathon tells us that he is a warrior. Conclusion, Eliud Kilchoge is warrior that has seen many battles, his body treads on, age does throw daggers at him at times, some wounds deeper than others. But the scars will heal, and once again the warrior is reborn, defying yet again what is possible. Nothing is impossible. Believe
7:16 "Here are the full results" .... only shows the top 16 finishers lol.
I need those "zebra" shorts on 4:28. Any idea which brand are they or the runner with them?
Those are from an adidas athlete based on the shoes, so I imagine they are adidas shorts
He's 39 & this race underlines the beginning of the end of his marathon career.
I love you African because Run is fun 🤩🤩🤩🤩
Kipchoge has a danger of not making Kenyan team for Paris?
Kipchoge's time was just over a minute slower than the American marathon record. Still world elite and only 8 months away from setting masters world records.
Kelvin was super human, marathon without him is a body without soul now. Missing kelvins performance & the question what if he ran at his peak around 28 or 30 .. he went off when he was just starting at 23
Kiptum would of been here 😢
Nah, he was running Rotterdam. It's sad that he's gone though.
He wasn't scheduled to be in Tokyo. He was to participate Rotterdam...
@@moaningpheromones correct, the running shoes alone are starting to alter my research.
I may be rong but it seems Kipchoge has less hip extension than in the past?
Kipchoge is the GOAT, but is no longer the fastest runner. He will need to use his head very, very wisely if he is to hope to win the Olympics.
“Kipgoge the goat at the marathon”. Kelvin kiptum would be the true goat if is wasn’t for his death which is very sad.
i wonder if he did it
@@samuelgarcia293Loser troll.
What about the womens race? Any breakdown on that?
My goat is getting old he’s declining. NOOOOO!!!
3 trp videos in one day?? 😮💨
also the fast record on Asian soil, right?
I miss you Kelvin Kiptum
Rest in peace Kelvin kiptum
Congrats to Kipruto!
Regarding the positive split: Could it be a strategic move to get rid of Kipchoge? The top 3 runners simply believed that they would handle the fast pacing better than Kipchoge?
Victory Kiplangat should just be Victor Kiplangat right?
Kipruto might be the first to break all 6 majors.
