Thanks for the tutorial! Good info! Maybe give a few close ups when doing the initial dots so we know exactly where to place. ❤❤❤

Bet - I might redo this with a more complex design in the future now that I have a better camera setup. The main thing is to have a level ring of dots around the circumference to base all the rest off of

I know a lot of torch workers put a didymium filter on thier cameras to help with the flame blowing out the light balance. Nice work! I did a lot of dot work when I first started as a lamp worker using 104, so seeing someone not only work in boro but in tubing is an education 😁

I have a good Diddy filter for my Canon, I have some new footage ready to edit when I'm a little less busy!

Awesome demo! I loved the GoPro angle too! I've been wanting to see how these are made and didn't realize they aren't too difficult. Thanks for sharing!
I Subscribed and will be adding this video to my "Glass History, Lessons, and More!" playlist!
And my 4 year old son really liked the music you chose! Thanks again!

Oh yeah, this is just about it's most basic format, but once you get a feel for it, try different more complex layers and patterns! You can drag some dots to points, make heart shaped dots, and get real crazy with layers on layers of dots. The possibilities are endless!

Strap a d lens to the front of the camera

I did, that's why you don't see the orange sodium flare. However the exposure is too high and makes the video bright, & that you cannot change on the GoPro that this is recorded on unfortunately. I will not use gopro much in the future
