I've been in the industry for over 20 years now, I've always had craftsman, husky and u.s general boxes. I've had these brands multiple times due to slides failing, spot welds failing and upsizing. Last year i finally bit the bullet and bought a snapon epiq 84" with hutch and overhead storage, i couldn't be happier. Yeah it was expensive but any issues snap on takes care of it, you don't get that with the other brands. The snapon is 30 inches deep where as the other brands are shallower. I'm still getting used to pulling the drawers out all the way and realizing i have so much more storage. Pay more and buy it once, instead of going through boxes every few years with the cheap ones.

I never got the point of large tool boxes, I have tote bags and backpacks with tools sorted per bag in clear labeled storage containers, plumbing, cars/mechanical, wood/framing, electrical it's faster and mobile and I don't have to resort it into a toolbox and bag everytime I do something.

I've compared the US general to the Husky boxes the Husky boxes a nicer especially if you get the heavy duty ones they're much stronger and well-built the drawers don't wobble I haven't really looked at the icons cuz they're much more expensive

Um, Husky tool boxes come from Home Depot. You are at Harbor Freight.

Agreed, tool boxes don’t fix cars, tools do. If you buy snap on tool boxes you’re a fanboy with more money than brains.
