This is someone's first vinesauce video. I can imagine someone checking out the channel after being told it was funny. They watch this and never return.
Funny though, I could imagine just as many people who would subscribe after watching this.
I did the exact opposite, I found this video in recommendations and then after watching it, I couldn't stop.
To be fair the same can be said with all sunday streams
I'm sure what convinced me I was a vinesauce fan was the old rp streams which are as weird as this

I love Vinny's increasing discomfort when playing Ollam House, things just get worse with each new person he sees.
I think that weird Atari style game with the jerking off actually really well represents that era of gaming. AVGN said it best in his Swordquest video when there was this dramatic little animation that would play every time you go through a door. "on Atari everything is a big event, even opening a door".

So glad I got to relive that cursed Sunday in this compilation. That was actually Vin's stream and everything we watch now is prerecorded or Jimsauce filling in.

Seeing how much feedback other guest editors recieve, I wonder what do you guys think about our editing as well.
It was good, enough space to breath between clips and some context was given. I don't think you need to overlay the references, they're not making the jokes funnier for neither of those who know about it or those who don't. Especially the globglogabgalab part, it was way too long and it's a dead meme anyway.
@@Segab Thanks for the feedback, the overlaying references is just the way we try to sneak them in usually - works good if Vinny is quoting something, it is also in my opinion a good way to show both source and reference in a not distracting way without a huge effort (the software we are working in isn't as flexible). It also helps fighting the internal worries about the fact that people might think that we're just being lazy - only splicing clips and that's it, which isn't entirely true. I absolutely agree about the globglogabgalab part though
@@Segab I'm not able to catch a lot of streams so I'm really behind on most of the memes and references, so I do actually appreciate a bit of added context here and there. For example, as someone whose never seen the.... Shubbadubba.... Thing. Before. They showed just enough for me to be both awed and horrified, knowing and dreading that I'm going to have to look that thing up later. I can totally see how it might feel redundant to anybody who already knows that song all too well though, and trying to find the right balance for both casual and more dedicated viewers is going to be a challenge for any editor.
@@okayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy i totally get it for Vinesauce inside jokes like Meat or Vinerizon. I'm pointing out the globglob thing in particular because it's just a dead meme that's not related to Vinny, so it isn't worth bringing in a compilation that's out months later.
The AVGN pic to some extent is also too much because showing it doesn't add to the joke. Syncing his video with "what were they thinking?" was a good joke, no need to make us stare at him for 5 seconds before that. That's just a nitpick but editing can introduce a layer of jokes, so it's important to deliver those properly.
We need to get weirder.
I need to admit it. I sometimes come back to this video just to hear the extremely soothing beginning jingle. Not once has it not given me goosebumps.

It’s just real. Unlike a lot of other streamers/RUclipsrs, you can almost feel the warmth in his laughter, it makes you feel less alone, like you’re hanging out with a friend
