@@treebud139 Yeah super reliable. I offroad and camp in Utah, middle of nowhere by myself, Landcruiser never let me down. Yes have the back all build out, removed the rear seating, on board air, fridge, diesel heater, Lithium battery etc. so much fun. Enjoy building your out!

Coil springs front and rear, so I believe this is also known as a 1st gen Toyota Prado, a model which was never sold in Australia. A fantastic project car! Very nice indeed! Thanks for sharing this video!

Nice! Moved in 2024 from a 2008 Landcruiser Prado 2.7A TX to a 2011 Landcruiser V8 VX. These vehicles are fun and reliable! I also have a 1984 LWB G-wagon which is old enough to do all sorts of conversions for camping.. Good to see what you are doing!

@@treebud139 It was a Singapore Prado, now sold. We are now in Malaysia: on Malaysian plates is the big Landcruiser V8 VX. The 1984 G Wagon is also on Malaysia plates - but we are processing it to be a Classic Car in Singapore. Along with another 1989 red Malaysian 260E. We currently have one Singapore classic plate 1984 280SE - that we keep in Malaysia. The benefit of classic cars - is that Car insurance is cheap for our 21 year old new driver. The fastest way across the causeway is the Singapore registered Can Am Spyder!

This is not an Land cruiser 77 or 70, this is Land Cruiser Prado 78 (kzj78, lj78)

This is Land Cruiser Mark II.
There is difference every region
It was a reason why its called 77..because its VIN # was RJ77...and its engine was 22R,gasoline (petrol) engine under the hood...
LJ78 was 2LT engine
LJ79 was 3L engine
KZJ78 was 1KZ engine
So here in our local community in Malaysia,we do call it LC2 /LCii or Mark2 especially in Sabah and Sarawak while in peninsular,its known as LC2...
Frame is basically the same, just coil springs vs leaf springs for better ride, and Hilux rear, which is still plenty capable. The entire coil spring front end design was just better and was carried over to the Land Cruiser 80 series. Transmission was used in heavy duty Land Cruisers as well 😂

Hey, I like your idea of a hanging portable coffee table for the back swing door. is that something you created or bought? I like the color of your LC. I have a GX that I'm slowly building out.
It’s a camping table which I bought online and the hanger is from my hammock accessories. I have converted the blue to other color, check out our latest Land Cruiser video😀 I hope you are enjoying the process of car conversion too🎉

Did they even torque the lugnuts/wheels?
Technical terms…what do you mean? 😆
When the guy put your wheels back on, the guys used an impact wrench to put it back, but did not see a torque wrench to make sure the lug nuts are on to the torque value or manufacturers specification.@@treebud139
