1985 three of us from maroubra bay got selected for the school boys regional reps for state selection. at moore park. one friend was jeff orford played for roosters and played for city reps early 90s. when we got to the venue. all everyone was talking about was terry hill. scoring 4-5 tries every game. the typical running around the whole team with his speed. i was i oar watching him. nice guy too. rip in peace terry.

He did have flaws in his game like most players...One standout was his inability to pass if he made a break...He just would not pass....Also Phil Gould dropped him from his state of origin team...either it was his disruptive nature of the real reason was he was sliding in defence on his own line instead of pushing forward when required,..He had a few brain explosions which made him liable. He loved to entertain and besides his abilities on the field he was a very amusing bloke...sad to see him gone...may he rest in peace like the peace we all felt when he was entertaining us.
I can't believe it, I just saw that Terry has left us. I have met Terry at a nightclub and he was a top bloke. Shattering RIP Terry.
