I'm glad you said this was April at the beginning! And at the end it became Christmas themed. What fun! From snowdops to hail. I always feel bad that I cannot send you a donation. I am an elderly widow in poor health. I was a metalsmith for 40 years so it is fun to watch Gail make things.
Your comment is a gift💞.
watching, liking, commenting helps them out aswell and your kindness is a donation in itself!
❤️ Sundays are the best days ❤️ honestly, we ditched telly for the sake of watching your videos. We had a cheeky plan to not watch your new videos and binge them on Xmas but obviously this didn't work out 😂
Hard to believe people threw out perfectly good plates etc. They could be given to charity shops or needy people. It's crazy to me that these were thrown out. So glad you rescued those lovely fern plates!
I also like Molly am a older citizen but love you both like if I've known you.You have the best times and so do I watching you.love the sea glass and the dump by the river where you found Barbie .love you both.
The only people I know who can make a garbage dump interesting!
Another great video!
I thought you were going to leave the ginger beer bottle behind. I'm glad you heard me yelling at you to take it. 😉 Don't forget to show us the restored version. I also can't wait to see what wonderful things you make from the scrap copper finds. 😊 Thanks for another wonderful video. I always love to see the shots of nature that you include. The nesting bird was so sweet. 😍
Im so glad you took that stone jug home . Cant wait😇💕👍🙏🏼
A bunch of beautiful finds love the stoneware bottles always look forward to Sundays for your videos. Beautiful kitty. Can't wait till the next one . keep mudlarking and bottle digging
Hi lovely ladies, loved today's video, we are at the beginning of summer and enjoyed looking at winter there. The bottles are such a beautiful colour. Can't wait to see another craft film 😍 . Much love Sue Gosling ❤ 💙 💛
I thought you were going to throw the ginger beer away, thank you for saving it! Wonderful video, thank you for taking us along.
"Helloooooo"..... My favorite intro 🤗❤️🤗❤️🤗❤️
I love to see how your skills have grown along with your channel!
Alex's pottery bottle is a perfect color match for her orange jumper (at least on camera). I'm so glad y'all keep finding those; they are really pretty.
Love watching you both,my husband and i live in Tasmania and have great fun collecting old bottles keepit up collecting love it
It,s April 2022, watching your video from bed, just recovering from the coved virus. My cat Dixie is here with me snoozing. We love to hear your voices, chatter chatter, it helps us to recover our mental health. You do a fantastic job for the nation much better than lazy journalism on the radio news.X Sue in Cheshire.
Aw, thank you - hope you feel better soon! xx
Wonderful finds. I love the orange pottery bottle. Happy holidays to you and your family!
Great finds! Always a thrill to see what goodies y’all will unearth.
I can't believe the whole unbroken pieces survived! Some amazing finds in this visit.
Beautiful video and beautiful lovely ladies, love your adventures and wish I was there also. Thank you for such a lovely time I spent watching you.🌹
Thank you for another wonderful lark. I love your fern plates, too, Alex. I've been known to drop what I'm doing to watch your video when it posts. Keep up the good work and stay healthy, happy and humble.
Your intro is wonderful and your content just gets better and better, thank you ladies x
Every time you ladies start a video. I always seem to wave back! 😊
While you were uncovering the treasures, I was looking at all the pine cones, thinking of all the things I could make with them! In my opinion you are the best mudlarkers , as you always give so much information on your treasures, and your both so enthusiastic . Thank you for the great videos. From Pembrokeshire West Wales
I also thought the pine cones were beautiful.
Agree completely, they are the best!
Sian Beynon I was thinking the same thing! I could use a few more pine cones for my Christmas wreath. Also agree with the rest of your comment. These ladies are the best!
I was also thinking about the pine cones and how pretty they would be for Christmas decorations. I was surprised they didn't pick any up for crafting.
I have to pick them up , every time I see some!
Always a blue bead lol! The orange bottle is stunning! Lovely visit to the tip thanks for taking us along as always! 💕💕WV🇺🇸
Glad to see you found so much copper sheet and wire. My favorites among all your videos are those in which you find one thing or another and share the process of turning it into a new or restored item, a piece of jewelry, etc. I'm a glass torch worker (and ceramicist) and I find your "making" videos not only enjoyable and inspiring but relaxing. Thanks again.
OMG these plates are beautiful 😍 and that intro was just WOW 👏👀❤. So excited watching now ☺
I hope you're doing well after the storm and with all that's going on.
I feel the same way, as you do Molly. I just started to sweep my patio and got only four feet done. I do enjoy watching Gale make jewelry and I am just amazed. I also love it when Alex gets excited when she finds something . I had to run it back once to hear what I thought she said and I was right: she did the little Martians words. Meep Meep Meep . I laughed a lot on that one. Don't stop being happy and surprised, it's what makes these Videos' fun to watch. I also like to watch them making molds and Alex making her molds for silver Jewelry Susann 75
I just paid $36 for a sheet of copper for jewelry making and here you up and find one for free! Lovely finds and a lovely video :)
Liked the colors of that rug near the broken ginger beer bottle. Love that purple dish.
Hi Gail and Alex: Blantyre is in Scotland a few miles from Glasgow. David Livingstone grew up there (next door to my Grandma). It was a silk weaving area in the day and also had several coal pits. My brother still lives in High Blantyre (the upper village). In the area we had a soft drink plant because of the terrific water. Happy 😊 holidays from Canada where I now live. Enjoy your channel a lot……
Your videos make me de stress lol...... I love all ur finds but the copper metal sheet looks like it was struck by lightning with the wee pattern on it.....and the fern plates omg memories lolas always huge huggles from Falkirk Scotland 🏴🤗🏴🤗🏴🤗🏴
I have a request for Alex: please consider creating a tooth fairy's cottage diorama, in which you can display your human teeth, and maybe even the coins you find on your adventures. I am sure you have plenty of doll parts to create a fairy as well!
I wouldn't restore that ginger bottle; I'd have dried flowers peeking out of the hole! Love the texture of the break.
Wonderful, I love the scenery which you make an integral part of your videos. Lovely, thank you for sharing xx
Willie would take that ginger beer bottle to repair. Thank you for the adventure.
Have to say, I wait for these videos every Sunday. I watch them just before going to sleep. They're just so relaxing and calming, I love them!! Keep up the great work ladies!
Great day out in the dump! Love the gorgeous orange bottle, the plates and the lovely glass dish.❤😊
Thanks so much 😊
@@NorthernMudlarks Merry Christmas to you both Gail and Alex. I've been enjoying watching your videos for several months now and seeing Scotland and England vicariously through them and I think they are lovely. Such beautiful countryside. Someday I hope to see them in person. Best wishes for a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from your friend here in New Bern, North Carolina USA.
Sundays take so long. I love your videos so much. My granddaughter watches your videos. When you say hello she waves to you both then looks to the back of my phone for you. Thankyou for the joy your treasure hunting gives me. Have a wonderful week.
I don't know if you read new comments on your older videos, but a bottle with a hole in like that makes a great feature in a small water garden. You can feed the pump hose through the hole. Lie the bottle on its side on some stones and the water can pour through the spout. Fun larking with you!
The April weather in the borderlands looks much nicer than it must be currently!!!
Next time you find an oil Lamp, look at the little brass knob it always has lots of info on them and maybe you can incorporate them in you art treasures...They are very cool shined up! ... Happy Holidays from Boston,
I love the fern plates and the purple bowl. You found some amazing items that will help you with your crafting and jewelry making.
Merry Christmas to you both and maybe that ginger beer could become a tower in the pipe bowl town of fairy houses you made. It already has a window. Your production skills are top notch on your videos. Love your Tom cat he is handsome. Love to you both stay safe and warm. May your days be cheery and bright.
In the old days dishes were thrown out when they were broken. Now they are discarded when they are unliked
"Knackered" terra cotta pots look beautiful if you plant little succulents in them. I love the beautiful green bead.
🎄🎄 Happy Christmas Gail and Alex ☃️☃️ Thank you for your 52 gifts of adventure and time and beauty both of yourselves and of your surroundings and the History of our world too. Bless you both!
I've been thinking about the amazing bottles all of my favourite mudlarkers find. The broken ones that you all seem disappointed to have to leave behind like the amber "not to be taken" and the base of the broken "crystal" like jug... You could in fact use them in Led lighting or stained glass artwork. Imagine a beautiful window piece that shows off a selection of broken sides and bottoms of bottles and crockery.
I thought the tooth was from an animal initially!! It’s a very strange shape… Quite Vampire like! I’m glad you kept the ginger beer bottle! X
I have been tossing around the idea of a mudlarking museum where the finds and stories attached to them could be made available to the world. There aren't enough regular people being remembered as there should be. Wouldn't it be great if the museum were built from all those bricks that have been tossed out? Even an old building clad in those old bricks would be great, the names and other writing on them could be visible that way.
Thank you for your videos, they do help cheer me up when I'm down.
Great idea for a mudlark museum....👍
Blantyre is next to Hamilton in Lanarkshire, Scotland. Only 100 miles from where you live!
The more I watch your videos the more I forget I’m home.
Wonderful finds ladies!
Wonderful wildlife too!
Hi girls,, just watched your new video, wow you girls got new plates and a good cereal bowl, love watching you two at your best, have a good night,
The broken blue and white pottery could be cut with a dremel and made into jewellery. I’ve often seen beautiful earrings, necklaces and bracelets made from pretty China. Thank you both.☺️💐🇬🇧
That clay jar around 8 min is exactly what iver been looking for to tote around my mtn dew in.
What a wonderful mixture of finds! A real timeline! Perhaps the tip was abandoned and then reopened for use at a later date? I can only imagine what treasures lay at the bottom. Great video Ladies 😀 x
Another great video,Happy Sunday.
Hi, thanks for the journey through time, i remember Horlicks tablets in a packet as a youngster, very chewy. Gail your gloves made me smile, kept reminding me of little crocodiles, ha ha. Have a great week.
I had that fern crockery set back in the day, only got a plate left lol. Great finds ladies.Merry Christmas to you xx
We ended our TV cable over a year ago. Finding you lovely ladies makes my Sunday evening something to look forward to! Bless both of you and Merry Christmas from Ohio, USA.
Love the little bluey bottles and an interesting video as usual. Always look forward to Sunday evening to see what you two have been up to and the lovely scenery and wildlife.
One side of the old lock looks like a cat's head! 😄
Hello my lovelies. Just couldn't wait to tell you how wonderful Sunday's are; just because you both come to us to show us the most glorious things. From bottles to plates. Some old, some not so old, but all beautiful. I believe the dish you found is a candy dish. Looks like one I had and used for hard Christmas candies.
Greetings from North Carolina U.S.A.

@@peggyreid6836 Hi from New Bern! (252)
@Marilyn Dreamwalker Mejorado Hi from New Bern, NC! (252)
I think you are right, that dent was hit with something, you can see the ding on the opposite side. Amazing finds.
Lots of neat finds today. Loved the orange bottle
A fun day :)
Oooh that purpley dish is so lovely
Beautiful finds!❤❤
I miss you when you end. You are becoming like family.
Hugs! xx
Ha! I was the first to like this time! Had a lovely time and always always look forward to your videos!!! Merry Christmas and hopefully see you soon!
Excellent video...just stunning place and the finds are very interesting...you both have great taste in archeological items...everything has character and such potential....bravo, Ladies...well done. The coin from France...wow!
I think your bowl will be beautiful with babbles in it. 🥰
Do love watching your adventures. And ooh and ahh over the treasures you unearth.
This is the first video of yours I have seen! Your dumps are better than ours-your bottles are so unique! I live in Idaho, USA.
Gail and Alex - Hello from Cincinnati, Ohio. I've not heard of Drene shampoo, but it's funny to think of you finding something that has it's roots in my city. I look forward to your video each Sunday evening, and send Christmas greetings and wishes for continued successful treasure hunts. With thanks for your wonderful videos, Ann
Thanks for another great video!
Amazing quirky dump I think it will keep you busy for many trips x
Love it 3 nice plates in the dump that you can reuse and in good condition Great video
My greetings and hugs to you, I suspect that this coin was placed on the railway line by children. Through the crushing of the locomotive wheels and the track, it was their pleasure to watch the coin bounce away, and then look for it.
2 snaps up ladies
We will keep are eyes out for those plates incase you try give us our tea off them lol
Loved the entire contents of this video, such super finds and nature ! plus a peak at snow wow ! Congratulations. Happy Holidays Peace and blessings to you . 🤗🌲
Lovely finds... thank you ladies! 🤗
What great eat place and some amazing finds ladies xxx
👌 thanks for sharing my friend's luv ya and merry Christmas 🎅
That was fun. One never knows what may be preserved out there in nature! Relics with a rich or obscure history. 🤗💗🤗
The little green bottles would be cute as salt and pepper set.
I just knew when I saw the title that Alex would have a tooth! haha. I know Gail found it but she never enjoys it quite the way Alex does! Those fern plates are lovely. As for the pyrex bowl, my mother had some of those in the 1970s. Exactly the same. They were put to various uses from being a more modern (then!) sugar bowl to having eggs broken into them when baking.
Wonderful and unique little finds! I especially LOVE the pottery bottle, just beautiful. And so glad you kept the ginger! Can't wait to see it restored xx Teresa ❤🇦🇺
I am blown away by the large piece of copper you found! In the U.S. people steal copper to sell for scrap. They will go so far as to break into unoccupied homes/buildings just to collect the copper. For a while they were even stealing it from people’s cars. In other words, what a find! I’m so glad you found such a piece that you can use. 😊
Hi guys. I have an idea for broken poison bottles. You could cut the pannels into flat peices and use them for jewelry. Wouldn't it be fun to have a pendant that says 'not to be taken'? Or better yet 'to be taken'?😁
Keeping warm and cozy yep! Happy Christmas season to you both.💕💕💕💕
Copper wire and sheeting, I'm jealous. The bead is pretty, too. Merry Christmas!
I sure loved your finds. That beautiful purple dish looks like one I had in peach glass that was from the deco era. It was nice to enjoy your spring pictures while the wind blows and the chill is in the air even in the Deep South. Thank you for your wonderful views of the Scottish countryside!
My Best wishes for you girls! 😘😘🥰
I'm surprised you didn't bring home 3 cereal bowls to match your plates. LOL Wonderful video, as always. I tried to remember what I did before I found RUclips, and then it came to me: I was reading books! LOL See you next time. Take care and stay safe.
I grew up near Cleveland Ohio, and I remember Drene shampoo from when I was very young in the late 60’s. It was a rather harsh shampoo that was highly concentrated so you didn’t want to use too much of it. It used to make my super fine hair all frizzy. I hated it. It smelled medicinal too.
Love you two! Thanks for sharing your treasure hunting with us!
😸😻 Lovely video ladies, can't wait for your next craft makes 😻😸
