you all prolly dont care at all but does any of you know of a trick to log back into an Instagram account..? I was dumb forgot my login password. I would love any assistance you can offer me
It’s been raining heavily in Singapore so I made this dish today for lunch - wow it’s so easy yet taste so good! It tasted like a warm hug :) Thanks Daniel and Katie for making Asian cooking accessible
my laziest midnight udon: boil frozen udon noodles in a bit of water, then add a dashi powder sachet and a spoonful of soy sauce ... then throw in some salty roasted seaweed and white sesame! i like your version better haha
Second! Whoop whoop! I had udon the first time when I was in Seoul and craved them ever since! In the meantime I collected quite a number of ways to make them but those simple recipes are the best! Clean and light!
Pro tip: if you have a cat they'll eat the boiled bonito flakes after you're done with them and a dog will eat both the bonito and kombu (you might have to cut the kombu up depending the dog) but i recommend mixing it with their food. Both items are super healthy for pets.
This recipe is the bomb!!! I made it yesterday and it was totally delicious. There was some left over broth that I used up today and it was even better!!! This is going to become an absolute keeper on the menu.
You guys are absolutely the cutest 😭😭😭 I love you guys together so much... I hope I find someone like you guys found each other 🥺 and thank you for the recipe!! I’ll definitely be using it!! Deliciousness at its simplest yet finest~
Such a cute video! Every time KT says "tadaima?" in that cute little voice I want to go "Okaerinasai!" This video soothes my Japanese heart haha. i should make udon....
I loved the snow angel by Katie! I always have a bag of katsuoboshi flakes in my cupboard because I love miso soup! I'm happy to find new ways to use it too! Daniel, try Togarishi. It's a spice blend from Japan that's pretty tasty on just about everything.
Just tried Daniel's version of udon and OH MY GOODNESS it was so easy and delicious!!! ABSOLUTELY LOVE ALL OF THE RECIPES I'VE TRIED RECREATING FROM YOUR CHANNEL. Cannot wait to see more of your videos
Ohh Daniel - you know how to speak Japanese also!! Impressive! 👏👏👏 Ok! I watched to the end of the video and you explained you lived in Japan as well - so that explains it! Very cool!
Loved the video! Btw how do you store your katsuobushi? I bought one but on the back it says 'refrigerate once opened and discard after 7 days'. Surely it should last longer than seven days right?
Wow, nice snow. Just had udon yesterday but it was stir fry. I’m definitely making your version #2. I like my soups a little hearty. Plus we’re also getting snow today! Perfect.
You guys are cute! I think you shot this a couple of days ago when it was heavily snowing in Korea. The snow angel and snowman were great! I will defo try this recipe, thank you! I’m already craving😅
You're so right that the Japanese can't do spice! But have you ever had the chili powder blend at Ichiran Ramen? That stuff is so good I bought several boxes home with me, and now every time a friend goes to Japan I pay them to bring more back. It's so good!
You lived in Japan? No wonder you know Japanesy stuff~ (Atama ga Baka...LOL) I like frozen udon microwaved for a few minutes - more chewy. 👍🏼 Daniel, can a request a recipe please! There's a KBBQ restaurant in Koreatown here in LA (one of the oldest) called Dong Il Jang which sadly just closed due to covid 😭. My favorite side dish there was Sogogi Twigim (spelling may be wrong) on their menu the English for that was Beef Tempura. The flavor was a tad sweet so to me, it was like deep fried marinated Bulgogi Beef? Since they closed and I've never seen this dish served anywhere else (I can't find the recipe online either) I would love to make it at home! Can you please make a video on it? Onegai shima~su! 🙇🏻 SanQ~
That looks soooo good. I gotta get those flakes and the soup soy sauce. I think I finally saw it and it says for soups. Yum. We r about to get really cold and possibly a dusting of snow. Not looking forward to that. Brrrrr
You helped me solve some mystery here. I disliked the powder flavor packets so I watched videos of udon restaurants-mainly ASMR -no explanation. I will try your version
Oh, you lived in Japan for a bit! No wonder you know so many Japanese terms. Let Katie know that the 本 hon in 本つゆ hontsuyu is the same as in 日本 Nihon 일본, maybe it will make it a little easier to remember. You guys are so cute, love the snow fun! 고마워요!
Большое спасибо за рецепт! Получилось очень вкусно, только водоросли мы заменили на укроп, бонито на сосиски, а удон на картошку, но все равно вышло замечательно!
Dude I'm totally down with version 2.. Love udon. I learned about ramen and udon craziness when I was stationed @camp castle near TDC... But. Need KIMCHI
Imagine being Future Neighbor's actual neighbor!
You guys are the cutest! Thanks for a lovely video! Will be making this on my 2nd day off.
you all prolly dont care at all but does any of you know of a trick to log back into an Instagram account..?
I was dumb forgot my login password. I would love any assistance you can offer me

Lol I love how Katie keeps saying “I’m home!” For Hontsuyu 😂 I’m learning Japanese also, and I probably do that kind of thing all the time too
Lol yeah I'm not really paying attention to the video and i heard tadaima several times i was like, did they have a guest while recording? 😂😂
I like watching you guys walk around your neighborhood! It'd be neat to see what Korean grocery stores look like for us here in the US!
Love it Neighbor, love it!

Where do you find the tofu pockets at? I've been looking for those at the international market for a few days. 🤔
