Let us know what you think about the video!
Video is awesome!!! I'm most definitely going to commission y'all to make me a pair of vintage looking engineers in the future. Lovely boots
Grant, thank you so much for making me these incredible Engineers! Your workmanship and attention to detail are second to none. These Engineers will be my entry in this years Stichdown Patina Thunderdome!
I have seen hundreds of videos of shoe making, especially engineer boots… but this one is the best! You’re taking this craftsmanship to an art level.
Few months ago you released another amazing video of engineer boots being made step by step- I recommend everyone who loves this stuff to watch it ❤
I recognize these boots - they're sitting in my living room! 😂Grant, you are a genius! Making Martin wait until October 1 to wear these.. we'll see you in the Thunderdome!
This quality of work is literally unreal. Tip top.
With every video y'all make, I am more blown away by the work that y'all do. Absolutely fantastic!
Another amazing pair of boots! You are a master craftsman, with touches like the personalized boot bag! 👏👏
Incredible ❤
This is an excellent video. You can see why a good pair of engineers are pricey. The amount of work and craftsmanship is extensive. Thx for the video. You guys do great work. I’ve watched a few 👍
Wait, these are a burgundy tea core? This is the best idea idea for a tea core ever.
Artistry in full flow
Wow and more wow!
Amazing work! Keep it up!
this is real magic! I have Engineers Chippewa, but they are not as good as yours, but we don't have anything like that in Russia.
Thank you for the video, I really enjoyed watching your skills at work. Brilliant.
Beautiful!
Best looking boots ever. 😍👍🏻
Amazing!!! I can't wait to have y'all put the new Clinch style heels on my 2 pairs of Julian engineer boots. You guys are awesome!!! Jeff Stinnett from Lexington, Ky
Amazing work, I look forward to doing potential business with the House in the future!
정말 멋지군요~👍
Beautiful 🤌
What an absolutely gorgeous piece.
One question - what's the purpose of this line in the middle of the boot form shaft to toe? I doubt I've seen anything like that before.
Wao beauties
You're the only one who has posted a really stylish boot making video I've seen. Loving it!!!
You are doing it all effortlessly - very inspiring !!!
What is the sewing machine you're using? I'm looking to purchase a new one here in Europe, as for the moment I have an old roller foot I picked up for 400 Euros, but the motor is not powerful enough. Do you use a step-down controller as well? I'm surprised that a roller-foot machine is able to handle such thickness of leather at such low speeds!!!
Thank you very much! We're glad you like the video. The sewing machine we use is a Durkopp Adler 888 eco. We have a servo motor with a speed reducer so that is how we are able to stitch slowly.
Toujours aussi belles même en noir
А почему нельзя прошить промежуточную подошву а верх на клей ?
great boots as usual! may i ask a technical question... At 25:46 why do you glue the vamp lining and upper together? is it for more form stability? Won't it affect the breathability quite strongly?
That's a good point, I suppose it might affect breathability slightly, it is done to keep the lining from falling and creasing on the inside of the boot once worn but perhaps I could find a different method so it doesn't form a rubber cement forcefield haha
@@UnsungHouse i see. i guess that makes sence. on a boot with a structured toe typically the layers are only pasted on the toebox. maybe one could apply that here too and only glue the toe area... but i've never build an unstructured toe, so i'm just speculating :)
Great job!
But damn brother can I send you a box of pens? Lol.
What kind of insoles did you put on so that dozens of nails that were driven under the boots would not sink under the feet?
How much you ask for boots like this?
I used to burn my $600 boots because I was angry after I found out it was not durable. As a person who studies about handmade leather boots, I would say these pairs Unsung makes are gonna last for 10 to 15 years. And are definitely better than Nick's boots without any doubt
If I want to order one boot for me how much it costs me
If you're interested in some boots you can email us at shoes@unsung.house and we can start the process there.
did you figure out how much a pair of boots like these will set you back?
Do you sell your boots?
We do! At this point we're just making boots to order but working towards having them available for purchase "ready to wear"
@@UnsungHouse super nice boots keep up the good work. 👍🏻
How much do they run? And do you have a link? So I can see the boots?
Great work but criminal to dye that red leather
