Lunar Funk Theory - You Can't Always Get What You Want

This video is a compilation of my time with Lunar Funk Theory on the road in 2011, along with their Aug 18, 2012 farewell performance at Sioux Falls' Downtown Live. I traveled extensively through the region with Lunar Funk Theory in 2009-11, photographing many shows. I began shooting video in April of 2011, and this compilation features many of my favorite moments along the way in 2011. Lunar Funk Theory will be going on hiatus as members pursue other projects, their final show was Friday September 7th, 2012 at Wookiefoot's Shangri-La Festival in Geneva, MN.

I had seen these guys at Tommy Jacks the year before and really enjoyed the show, in spite of the rain. I invited my mom and my daughter to downtown live to see Indigenous (we're huge fans), but these guys, this song in particular, just stole the show. We didn't even stay for the headliners. Soooo happy to see it uploaded. We were all right on the barricades. Amazing band. Reunion, boys?

I had the honour of being picked up by the LFT while hitching across the States in 2010 outside of Rapid City, SD. I was taken on a four day adventure to Elk Falls Camp Grounds and The Hemp Hoe Down where they were the headlining act. The nicest people I met during my seven weeks in the states. I still have the CD's they gave me. Hope you are all still well and good out there somewhere. :)

Thought I'd never find this. My mother and my daughter joined me in Sioux Falls for this show last year. It was a perfect evening and these guys totally stole the day from Candlebox.
