One of the highest grossing horror movies of 2013, $319 million dollars against a $20 million dollar budget. Based on true events. Be sure to watch the other films in the series.
@@XxXDestroyeri showed my friend the second one and she loved it so i was like okay let’s do the 3rd, she didn’t even make it 15 minutes she thought it was so bad and boring 😭
Idk why but this movie is just my favorite, the ending scene of the mother being shined down on, it was like a heavenly, comforting light and it was so beautiful and the speech about leaving her family behind and that bringing her enough strength to come back was so heartwarming
yes it's all real. in fact the real Andrea, the oldest daughter wrote a book about it and what she described was way worst than the movie. ed and lorraine are real as well. their daughter is still alive and their items are in the occult museum in Connecticut and Annabelle is there.
What really happened to the Perron family was way worse than what was depicted in the movie. Andrea, the oldest daughter, wrote a 3 book series called "House of Darkness, House of Light" and explained how the Warren's actually made things worse. The family struggled with the hauntings in the house for 10 years.
The Nun Annabelle: Creation Annabelle The Conjuring Annabelle Comes Home The Curse of La Llorona The Conjuring 2 The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It You're welcome
Officer Brad Hamilton is the GOAT. One of the best side characters. The man has a regular cop job. And he's probably doing this on the side for some extra cash. The man has been sleep deprived and he decides to stick it out through the end, never losing his composure and helping everyone until the job is done.
I'm so excited you guys decided to start this franchise! It's one of my favorites besides the Scream franchise. There's also two more films coming out in this universe hopefully pretty soon so you guys will have plenty of content going forward. 🙂
For those who don't know, the original house is still active now a days. The books that were written by Andrea (one of the daughters) is more accurate than the film for audience purpousess. Also every movie is connected with eachother through time lapse and enteties, so I really raccomend you guys to watch all the movies in cronological order and if you ever have the chance, visit the house. It's 100% worth it.😉
Fun fact in the second scene of the film when they are presenting to an audience you can see the real Lorraine Warren she’s the old lady sitting near the front
So the real Lorraine Warren actually got the story wrong about Bathsheba. There was no evidence of her ever being a witch or even being related to one, and the timeline of her life doesn’t correlate to when the property of the house known as the “Old Arnold Estate” was first built. There’s also no evidence that she killed her newborn son, especially since if that were true…I’m sure Jedson would’ve filed for divorce right away, and they wouldn’t have had another baby but they did. They had a daughter and a son together. Lorraine blamed Bathsheba for the entire haunting, even though there were several spirits haunting the house. She and Ed also made things worse because they showed up to the Perron house uninvited with a camera crew, they did a seance (not an exorcism) and it go so bad to the point that they thought Carolyn was dead….that Roger ended up punching Ed I’m the face and kicking them out.
No boy,it was real.when they exorcism started it became aggresive and then the father kicked ed out of the house b4 they could finish.so it was the family own fault..
The warrens were real people, both passed away now. They were controversial of course, as their area of expertise many dont think is real. I definitely do as ive personally experienced it. But many swear by them. Btw new builds dont mean no spirits. A person doesnt have to die in a home in order to haunt it. Some come with the land, or even neighbors or if a disaster happened in the area historically. Or so the theory goes. I grew up in a new mobile home and there was something on the land bc even after we tore down old trailer (where wed had activity since i was little), it was also in the new home. And it was brand new, never lived in.
At the end when the music box stops playing Rory is peeking through the shelf No one else seems to see this but me lol but because of the way the music thuds, my brain told me something must be there so I kept rewinding and pausing when I first saw this movie many years ago and Rory is there Very hard to spot without pausing at the right moment
Me and my dumb friends back in college went on a camping trip for a few days up in the woods and decided to play hide n clap, we were all less than sober on in a few ways..😅and my god it was the scariest yet most fun experience I’ve ever had, one friend of mine climbed up a tree and it took us over an hour to find him😂 these movies are such a staple for me
Well.......unfortunately it doesn't really matter if a house is brand new or not.. It's about what may have happened on that land. Say they decided to tear the house down and build a brand new one. It wouldn't matter. It's the land that is still cursed. Also, yes, this stuff is very much real. Maybe not the way it's portrayed in movies, but it is very, very real.
Ed and Lorraine Warren were real people Ed passed away 2006 Lorraine passed away 2019 they were real paranormal investigators and horrifying stuff really happen with them.
My favorite horror movie since "Salem's Lot"! The actual family said their experiences were for each individually. They called it being in a bubble. FYI: it's real. My family has dealt with odd things for years. It's the land. I have a 2 yr old scar on my ankle from being pulled out of bed while my hubby played tug of war to keep me from hitting the floor.
in the real story, there was a theory that since the witch was a terrible mother and sacrificed her kid to the devil she was jealous of Mrs. Perron, and how she replaced her as the wife and mother of the home. It started out as a playful almost flirtatious haunting around Mr. Perron but became more violent and focused on his wife, and the Warrens became involved. Lorraine liked the movie's version of events more because it was more terrifying than the true story and gave people a reason to fear the supernatural. But, most of their stories are also greatly criticized to be fabricated or at least altered so others believe the woman wasn't actually a witch but accused and the events on the split-up property were either made up or a strange coincidence. Buzzfeed Unsolved covered the true story and toured the actual house looking for the witch (but as always it remained unsolved).
Don’t always believe what you hear read your very GULLABLE niave a lot of it’s bull didn’t happen and these people made it up just like the LUTZ family with amityville horror it was made up a hoax for the lutzs to make money publicity fame and sell a story for money it’s a load hogwash you people really are GULLABLE niave the perrons are no different to the lutzes you believe anything and the warrens were the biggest pair of con people and fraudsters
Yes demons are real. The greatest trick ever pulled by the devil is convincing people he doesn't exist. You might not believe in the devil but he believes in you...
Yes, this did happen to a family... (Some parts are made up for the movies, but they are based on real investigations) And Ed and Lorraine we're real people... (Ed passed in 2008- Lorraine just in 2018)
if you check out the sam and colby in the conjuring house video you'll hear that this movie was not made to make the haunting look worse than it was for entertainment , but that the haunting itself was so bad that they couldnt get an R rating and had to water it down for PG13. and that in the true story Ed and Lorraine came to the house and started the exorcism but the spirit became so aggressive and worse while the exorcism was happening that the dad punched Ed and kicked the couple out before they could finish because he thought they were making it worse. then the house and the family remained to be tormented
I heard you ask a question about exorcism. As a catholic I can tell you it is still practiced today, albeit recognized by the Vatican and approximately 150 priests are sanctioned to do it today.
As a film that is literally scary I advise you to watch Host which was released in 2020 I think. It's a bit of a Paranormal activity remake. You're not going to stop startling I warn you 😅 but I'd really like to see your reaction to this movie 😁
Hello just giving clarity on if exorcisms are real… Yes. I’m a witch and I deal with cleansing spirits from people and places. No one talks much about it because we’re called stupid or crazy, but I’ve personally helped at least 10 families with “problems” around their houses. Keep up the reactions ☺️
this is based on true event and the crazy part is that the oldest daughter said that the movie doesn't do it justice for what really happend there also in real life it wasn't a happy ending
Just so you know… Even though your house is a new build, that means very little. See, spirits are attracted to wood, trees, etc. If a house was torn down and a piece of wood was made to be part of the new house, the spirit could travel with his favorite piece of wood and be a part of the new structure. Have you noticed when tall building are going up, there is always a Christmas tree in it? That because a ghost can be mischievous and push people off of the building structure. A Christmas tree is like catnip to them. They go to the only living part of the house…wood… and get to busy, it forgets about knocking people over the edge.
You mentioned you live in anew built home, yall should watch The Possession PG-13 · 2012 next, it's not about a new built home but part of it. It's a good movie the young actress did an amazing job.
So just to clarify guys, Denise is only slightly covering her eyes, she still sees what’s happening lol. But that is her raw reaction you’re seeing with her.
People can also have developed peripheral view. We can still 'see' without our pupils glued to the screen. Maybe thats what she's using. (Its very useful when watching foreign movies with subtitles, like anime)
The second Annabelle is better. The first one is a little disappointing compared to the conjuring. The conjuring two is amazing to. And Annabelle 3 is decent and fun but not terrible. The conjuring 3 is alright but it’s just extremely different from the other two. The nun was wack…..hopefully the nun two is better.
its crazy thinking about it cause YOU WOULD THINK that this being a horror film, that they exaggerated it and made it more scary to pull the audience in. But actually the real story was SO MUCH WORSE than the movie itself, the filmmakers saw the story itself and just couldnt add in most of it and had to tone it down BECAUSE of how horrible the true story was and they couldnt get an R rating so they had to tone it down and remove things to make it PG13
I love this movie and honostly the first two were the ones I liked the most but also this one scared me the most and it will always be my favorite. If you wanted to start from the begining, you should of watched The NuN first, then this one and the next one. The NUN kind of tells you where she came from, and WHO she really is, and how she plays into the Conjuring world.
Exorcisms are very real, people and houses get them. People when obviously something is possessing them or houses when something is in the house and will not leave.
With all due respect, I don’t think it matters if a home is newly built or not, depends what was on that land prior, could be a graveyard, cursed land like the movie, or something else. A old home perhaps adds salt to the wound. And I’m sure someone may have said this already, so I apologize if I’m repeating the comment.

Guys the conjuring 2 next pls

For real. I'd be pissed off if I were a patron and had paid for a horror reaction only for her to hide her eyes during all the good parts 😒
So just to clarify guys, Denise is only slightly covering her eyes, she still sees what’s happening lol. But that is her raw reaction you’re seeing with her.

Oh exorcism is very real. We we're once did that to one of our classmate whose being possessed and we literally saw her being pushed back hard back inside the house when we are trying to cast out the spirit in her
