This was such a heartbreaking episode for Binzer. I clearly remember the final act where he wipes away a tear allowing the villain to escape. Great job by Leslie Nielsen as the killer
Thank you for posting these episodes, I have a vague memory of this from the 70s, had the T bird model with Dan in the driving seat. That's the first time that I've seen the top up on the car. Spenser for hire next please 😂
The prettiest clothes in these old movies. Even the waitres is dressed nice. She's also really pretty! Great old movie. Wish there were more oldies like this! 👍
When Bart Braverman started acting he suffered from epilepsy seizures that caused him to have to quit acting. However, he had brain surgery which stopped the seizures and was able to return to his acting career. I know everyone one of his many fans, including me, are so glad 😃 that he was.
Great episode. It is a good showcase for Bart Braverman's acting talents. Although in the Vega$ world, Binzer was seen as perhaps a younger guy who looked up to Dan Tanna, in reality Bart Braverman was about six months older than Robert Urich. Such is the magic of television. A few points to consider. It is jarring to see Leslie Nielsen in pre-Airplane, pre-Police Squad!, pre-Naked Gun mode. He was really a good serious actor, but we all know what he had the most fun doing. At 20:52 it sounds like Bea is watching a western. Unless it was a mindless Saturday afternoon, I can't see her watching a western, especially one that sounds like a constant Indian attack! 23:00 I also can't imagine the sensible Beatrice Travis leaving her keys in the car, especially a new one. 26:14 they almost sound like a married couple here! (Maybe this was for all the fans who wished the writers had made them a couple.) 30:16 they just left Bea's new Mustang out in the middle of nowhere. Finally, I read one time where Phyllis Davis loved animals in general and dogs in particular. At 38:14 you can tell "that ain't acting" - she is really enjoying the dog (and Mutt seems happy as well). Listen close before Mutt jumps off the couch and you can hear the trainer make a lip-smack and a couple of hand claps to call him.
Back in the early 80’s before cable all types of movies might be shown during the day. I grew up in NYC, and we had the 4:30 movies on channel 7. I would come home from school and watch movies like Gidget or Godzilla. They had theme weeks like westerns. Those were the days. Television was so much better in my opinion. That’s why I love when old tv shows like Vegas are uploaded. 🙂🙂🙂🙂
what a great episode! love vegas, great memories of watching it in the UK in the late 70's when i was a boy, i still have the corgi toy replica of the T bird car!
being born in las Vegas yes it did snow in las Vegas in 1978 when this episode was shot but it only snowed a light snow just to cover the grass sadly the snow lasted only maybe 2 hours then it melted and yes we still went to school. but the scenes were they show it snowing a lot when the car is leaving a house is not las Vegas .the scene were benzer is shooting a gun is in las vegas
Wrong. That home is in Rancho Bel Air and here’s an excerpt about that snow - Since then, the most amount of snow to land in one day at Las Vegas is 7.4 inches (18.8 centimetres) on January 31, 1979.
In this very dramatic episode, Bart did a great job. But they had to put Leslie Nielson in it and using the phone a lot. I guess I watched too much Police Squad :)
@@Brandi111. McKenzie Junction is in Colorado. I've lived in Vegas for many years now and I've never heard MJ mentioned in reality. Mount Charleston and Lee Canyon are the two ski areas; I think very light skiing is done in MC and sport type skiing in Lee Canyon. My guess is the show went to either of these areas, or they got lucky on the one day it snowed in Las Vegas and filmed it down here.
I actually cried of an innocent pretty blind lady being killed for no reason and her dog (gender unknown) being by her side❤️😢❤️😢 I usually don’t cry in these types of serious old school TV dramas; Leslie Neilsen is so much better when he plays funny roles like his Naked Gun movies and TV show😀😀
I feel silly because I know that one other episode of this series is my very favorite episode of this series but I can’t think 🤔 which one it is, although I’m sure of at least 6 or 7 episodes that aren’t. This is the first time I’ve seen this one and I really enjoyed it. I have to add my praises of the other people who said that Bart Braverman was a superb actor. I’m not saying that Binzer was because although I don’t believe that I’ve ever seen him in any other roles, I’m sure that he would be equally just as good. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Anne Jeffreys (1923-2017) as Cynthia, was a really pretty lady & a fine character actress. If you Google her, you'll see that she was always impeccably dressed too.
I was too young to watch this but my folks would let me stay up to watch the credits - just to see the lion in the cab ... and then go nuts EVERY WEEK! 😂😂
The snow basically Wrote Itself into the show. 1978-79 was a way colder than avg winter in the West. I lived in Portland, we had several snowfalls when one per yr is the norm. Plus inch of ice on everything, lows in low teens. Yeah, weather nerd here….
It happens. This particular day is mentioned this way online- Since then, the most amount of snow to land in one day at Las Vegas is 7.4 inches (18.8 centimetres) on January 31, 1979.
Can you imagine being put in the Briggs because you scratched the itch from sand fleas while standing at attention? Benzer held a man at gunpoint who ran because Benzer had to wipe his face of perspiration.
I remember this one as a kid. Felt so bad for Binzer.

This is my favorite episode. Bart Braverman does a great job. 🙂
Bob Urich was like a vintage wine, the older he got the better looking he was, he looked so gorgeous in his forties
How old was he when he did this
@@kenyattasimpson8468 when he show started with season 1 he was about 34

Bea died when she was 73 and she had never been married and had no children.
Binzer did great actin here❤️💝🎊💖🎉Thank you for uploading this series 😍🎊🎈

Yes, the ones who had clothes on had pretty clothes but I’ve never seen so many naked rear ends and boobs. 😳😳😳😱😱😱🫣🫣🫣🫣😵💫😵💫😵💫😮😮😮
It’s not a movie it’s a tv show genius
great episode love the show
Bart Braverman was the best character, and really the best actor, in terms of his timing and delivery.
Loved him in Spencer For Hire!
I loved Robert urich on the TV show, s.w.a.t. from Ms. Harper Stacey.
When Bart Braverman started acting he suffered from epilepsy seizures that caused him to have to quit acting. However, he had brain surgery which stopped the seizures and was able to return to his acting career. I know everyone one of his many fans, including me, are so glad 😃 that he was.
You have Bart Braverman's story confused.
If you have ever seen the episode of I Love Lucy with the kids in Italy, he is the ringleader of the birthday party.
3:54 A suppressor won't work with a revolver! Someone tell Frank!
he was a real charmer like david janssen and mike connors

How accurate is the movie CASINO with R. DeNiro? I’m guessing when this TV series came out the mob was already flushed out by the feds?

Where exactly in Vegas? Do you know? Curious 🧐
I remember it snowing on the strip back in the 90’s! April I think 🤔 We kept looking out our shop windows from the Fashion Show Mall. Great times 😊

Que grande fue y tenía una amabilidad y simpatía yo lo amaré toda mí vida a mí ídolo y gran actor❤️🌹Robert Urich
Leslie Nielsen was Ric Flair before Ric Flair was Ric Flair
Robert uric at his best I always had a crush on him what a sad death god bless him and his family ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Never knew it snowed around Vegas.
They probably filmed in Mount Charleston. About an hour away as you head towards Reno on the 95. It snows up there; lots of skiing.

Back in 1998's "Mercury Rising", Leslie Nielsen would've played Nicholas Kudrow's father.

Weird seeing Leslie Nielsen not performing comedy.
Before Airplane lesilie Nielsen was a serious dramatic actor.
@@kimberlywiederhold627 he did comedy before airplane he was in a old episode of mash in 73
