It's an excellent ship. Great daily driver for cargo, hauling missions, etc. Not a combat ship so disclaimer before you get it. Other than that, it is very versatile.
Very good video, as usual. I noticed that you had floating MFDs in the pilot's seat. I do not have that in my Starlancer Max. Is there a way to turn those on?? Or am I bugged? Thx.
@TheCoreGameplay That's a drag because you can't see any of the MFDs in the new configuration . Given how dependent flight, combat and scanning are on information in the displays, it's laborious if not impossible to be effective. The rest of the ship is about as perfect as can be asked for. But if you can't fly, scan, or fight (when needed), then what good is it?
I think the TAC is the real combat & cargo ship out of all the Starlancers. TAC has the guns on the belly, jumpseats, medical beds still got the rear cargo grids and STILL fit a Ursa.
Honestly, it having all that weaponry, med beds and jumps ears, while still. Maintaining 97 scu of cargo space makes it damn near the perfect Do-it-all ship out of the 3 variants.
The constellation taurus, it's already capable of doing ERT.. In the game's current configuration... and the star lancer, max, is technically better armored.. And has better weapons, if you count all the extra turrets..😅 it could easily take over for the taurus and constellation series in general.

Considering to functionally, run that ship in a timely manner and defensible situation. Yes, you need at least three people.. It's considered a capital ship unfinished in the game, which most capital ships require a minimum of 4-6 people
Cig can make so easy money, all players want is, a big ass ship which has big pilot comtrolled guns. Fuck the balance man, give us big spaceships with big ass guns bro. Connie Taurus is already 200 usd . 200 usd for a game is already expensive ,imagine if cig actually comes to its senses. Ship names should be “ big ship with guns” or , “ an even bigger ship with guns”, or “the goat”. Ez money

The SL max is Pooh Pooh. Not enough power. Not enough cargo. For its price, you might as well grind more to class up. If you can’t carry 400scu, it’s not a cargo ship.

@@Squidley88 You would think so. a couple patches ago I lost my pledge Andromeda, did a ticket. The next day It was marked resolved with no action at all. I messaged them and it got changed back to active......for about an hour. Then I got a message saying pretty much "oh well" and it was marked resolved again. I had to wait for the next patch for it to come back. Worth trying tho, good luck, I hope it works.
When i play this game, which is only once in awhile, I find there is nearly no one playing like they used to. Its pretty dead now and i understand why. So a new ship and thinking about a new daily driver is nothing but a silly joke of an idea. The game is in a terrible state and heading in the wrong direction. Good luck.

Not a daily driver. stop make this ship to be a solo ship. because it isnt. At least 2 people to do anything. not even want to mention this ship is very slow compare to its competitors. no way you can just evade enemy fire when get caught.

@machoalright ... you may be right, in the long-term, if "ship-engineering" demands become oppressive. I don't think this will happen, however. The release of the Polaris should be enough of an indication for CIG that it's an incredibly difficult situation to round-up a crew for these ships. The on-board-AI needs to happen... sooner than later.

They reworked the MFDs a little bit of the ship recently

It's a slightly larger Taurus, so yeah, it's gonna be great for medium cargo as far as you don't take it in combat solo.
It's fine for PvE, at least until the nerf happens.
