Turning off automatic brightness is a bad idea your phone will never get as bright as it can outdoors even if you manually set it to max. the software in the phone can brighten the screen more than you can with the slider so I would recommend leaving automatic brightness on.
Yes, you can’t get up to 2,000 nits outdoor peak brightness unless auto brightness is on.
@MrMcBakeSale Because it’s based on the light around you. If it goes dark it will go down if light it will increase.
Honestly I wouldn't turn off auto brightness in general. It's just nice to not have to fuck around with adjusting my screen brightness through out the day.
No way I’ve never run auto brightness and never will.

Just got the new IPhone 14 Pro, and I’m surprised how storage the phone is taking up! Any idea why!? My iPhone 11 only used 72 GB & my 14 is at 144GB … kinda of annoying 😊😢

Right from the start, you tell us there is no physical SIM for the iPhone 14 Pro Max, yet here I am in western Canada, and I was. able to put the SIM from my old iPhone 7+ into my new iPhone Pro Max. Unsure if this ability is just our region?

Hello from Germany. Ours still has a regular sim slot.
Um always on display will take away a percent a most the entire day really not a big deal and leave automatic brightness on it makes a huge difference with going outdoors

Great video. I just ordered mine that I should have in a few weeks. I’ve had the iPhone XS Max and was running out of memory with my apps so I’m really looking forward to this phone. Thank you for the tips. I’m not into that always on screen and was wondering if it could be turned off. The battery life tip was also really good. My current iPhone can only max at 88% but it’s also a few years old. I’ll double check mine when I get it.
@Harmanjot Singh mine has 256 GB storage. I traded my 10X Max and got 210 for my phone. It’s a great phone. Wine t straight through the apple store to purchase because my service provider wanted to give me a whole new plan that would have costed me more.
Just upgraded to the 14 pro from the XS Max and wow what a step up! I delayed upgrading for several years which I am kind of glad I did but also I was missing out on a lot of performance. Hope you like yours!

If you turn off tracking then it doesn’t allow apps with auto sign in to access your passwords. Every time you get a new app anyway it will ask it track your app and you can decline it while still having auto fill passwords saved
Edit: you can also choose which apps track you within your settings
Yeah I realised this too. I recently exchanged my z fold 4 for the iPhone 14 Pro max. Best decision I've made in a long time. Also my 1st ever iPhone but I love it.
