    This was so timely and comprehensive. I just got my iPhone 14 pro this week and was looking for some instruction. The cinematic feature is my favorite. I pushed my camera through a thick grouping of flowers and as each flower went past it would focus on the next and then the next until it focused on the background. It looked amazing. Thank you for your work.

    This is an EXCELLENT tutorial of a hgh-tech camera by a photogapher, NOT an IT freak. It makes ALL the difference. To my knowledge, the BEST TUTORIAL EVER for iPhone 14 Pro cameras. And great timing - mine should come in a couple of weeks. All the best, Rob in Switzerland

    I've watched many videos on how to use the iPhone 14 Pro camera, and I found most of them very confusing, with the speaker racing through instructions so fast that I had no time to follow along with my iPhone 14 Pro. This is the best instructional video I have seen for for the iPhone Pro camera. Zdenka covers a lot of ground, but she does so in a clear and unhurried way. Thank you, Zdenka.

    This is the only place I could find a description and function of each of the three lenses, lens-by-lens. No list of specs indicates which lens does what. Neither is it illustrated in Apple's own user guide, and certainly not the scrap of paper that comes with the phone, or in anyone else's RUclips video that I watched (and I've watched quite a lot). Do we need this information? Well, I for one found it illuminating, along with all the other all the camera functions that you have de-mystified for me. Thank you so much Zdenka!

    This was by far the best video on how to set up in settings and use the cameras on iPhone 14 pro. It was long but it was easily the best. Well worth my time to watch it. I learned a lot and changed a lot of my settings so now my iPhone is working how it should for the damn price I paid. Lol. I don’t get why they do all these camera updates and default the phone to a lower setting. Most people wont know they have to change the settings to use the 48mp. They will assume its already being used. Which it should be by default (reason a lot of people upgraded their phones in the first place). Again great video!! Stay safe all!!

    • @ZdenkaDarula
      @ZdenkaDarula  2 года назад +1

      Yes, it is pretty amazing but when I was actually using it on Friday and purposely I was filming and cinematic mode, I realized that there are still some limitations when it comes to selecting the focus once you from the clips. It is far from perfect, but it is certainly doable. The next video will discuss all that as it was all filmed in that mode. It is also available on 13 Pro and Pro Max.

    Why does the ‘ most compatible’ setting produce the best results?? A lot of RUclips tutorials suggest leaving the format to HEIF. Please share your experience and insights because this choice alone needs to be understood the best. I’ve watched many tutorials and it seems most recommend HEIF over JPEG but regardless fail to explain what tangible visual benefit there is to their choice. Thank you for your feedback and the video.

    You can also record in 4K and 60fps ... in your video at 19:00 you told us 4k is available only for 25/30fps (which is true for Cinema Mode, but not normal Video Mode) :)
    This also applies to the new Action mode ... 2,8k at 60 fps is available.

      Not 4K only HD in normal video

    • @borisbojic
      @borisbojic Год назад +1

      @@ZdenkaDarula In 19:00 you clearly show and describe the "normal" Video Mode (no Action or Cinema mode).
      In this mode, it was and is possible to record in 4k with 60 fps.
      In *Cinema Mode* only we are fixed to 25 / 30fps for 4k. 🙂

    Very good tutorial. You mentioned about stabilization produces 2.8K instead of 4K. I assume 4K is without stabilization?

    any tips for best settings when we recording for instagram? raw ? 4k60 vs 1080p30 etc?

      For Instagram, you don’t have to do really high-quality because it’s just Internet and just social media. It will be compressed anyways.

    the ultra wide lens is used for the macro mode and the quad pixel binned sensor is used by the main lens, not the telephoto

    I got my 14 pro max 2 days ago and have been trying to figure out if my phone’s camera is faulty. When I’m recording or even just setting up my composition for a photo my camera is glitching. At first I couldn’t figure out what this glitch was but today I tried putting a mobile lens over the camera and watched it switch to another lens and glitch between lenses. I figured out that it only stops glitching if 2 of the 3 lenses are covered. I already turned off my lens correction in the settings and it’s still glitching. Please let me know if you can help!

      Thank you for your comment. As I don’t build those camera, I am not able to help you in this regards, so it would be best to contact Apple’s technical support and see if you indeed have a faulty product.
