1 knowledge point gives 5 artisans acuity but otherwise you don't really have other options for gathering professions, but you also don't need quite as many for gathering professions compared to how much is needed for crafting professions
Druid form now has skyriding, so as the usual thing they get to pickup herbs without leaving their form. But for ore they need the profession spec for it

The racial bonuses for professions do not matter as much this expansion because there's so HSV (hidden skill value) if you want to really optimize and care about really small %, then yea but it's not a big deal

But I heard from blizzrd sources that gathering is better this xpac because 1-100 doesn't matter either way you will get level 1 herbs alot and its rare to see lvl 2/3 and they have refined herbs for professions matter alot more now. so that level 1 herbs/ores dont get too rare like they did in DF.
Yes the quality of materials matter more for crafting recipe difficulty than in DF, this doesn't change how you want to level the profession though. Additionally you will see from the description of each ore/herb in your profession under ''Primary Reagent Difficulty'' that it shows you need a certain amount of skill to start collecting the highest quality of that particular reagent

Well the baseline system and overall look is similar, but the way i see this is similar to creating new dungeons and raids and such for PVE.

What do you thing about racial for herb/mining like Highmountain tauren for extra skill and deftnes or mayby Dracthyr for perception
Highmountain is fine since they can be druids, but the amount of time saved having an instant cast mount is pretty high
Anyone tried if Skygolem has dynamic flying in TWW and if its possible to loot herbs with it? :) sadly no beta club here :D
It does, there's only a handful of mounts that don't have it anymore, the new term is also skyriding btw.

Yea i've heard a couple people going dracthyr, but besides druids being good too they are my favorite as well so i'm not changing xD
Do druids have opportunity to fly with a friend in their form?
As of now, the passenger option for skyriding is only for the dragonriding mounts from DF - i'm sure that's gonna change in the future tho
So is double gathering a good idea stiil so like herbalism and mining
Yea absolutely! dual gathering is always good to start out expansions and usually for major patches too
