- This has to be one of my most favorite videos to make. Not only is it about my favorite and MOST used bag in the Louis Vuitton line of bags, but it is both practical and fun to talk about! One of my friends asked me today to help her make the decision between the Louis Vuitton Neverfull in the GM size vs. the MM size and so I decided to make the video. I own both the GM and the MM sizes in the Louis Vuitton Monogram canvas.

This video is a perfect explanation of how which one to choose. I only use my gm when traveling and I put under my feet in the car. I have used the mm for work and it was perfect as well as carry as a purse. You did a great description to help others decide! tfsI

I love the Neverfull. I will always own one. One of my favorite bag. I only have a MM size. I don't really need a GM, I do like the way how big this bag looks. Such a great comparison to help someone decide what bag they may need.

I need to get a GM but MM is my favorite- cause like you said it’s best for daily use in terms of size. When I had a GM I felt when I used it on a daily at a shop I felt like I’d hit people with my bag LOL.

i also have both just like yours except the GM has the Pivoine interior . Love the Neverfull so much. I do want the Trifecta in the GM. Gm is a lot more versatile. What a wonderful video, thank you for sharing

6:55 they both look great on you but for some reason: GM looks better. Im tall so i got GM and i love it! Plus i bought mine in 2019 it was 1000 euros in paris and today same bag in 2022 is 1550 euros! The appreciation rate of these bags is crazy! But it means it's a good investment and high resale value (as long as you take care of it and dont stain it or tear it etc).

I initially loved the Neverfull MM cus it's more usable for everyday than the GM which seems only good for work/travel/school but I found it far too large just for regular everyday use to run errands etc. but then when I stuffed the MM or wore a jacket with it, it quickly becomes one of the most uncomfortable totes I have ever owned because the strap drop is too short for comfort. The GM is far more comfortable because the drop length is longer but also feels so huge unless you're going to pack a lot.

@@FromJenwithHope depends on the bag! I think the Neverfull looks better with the monogram because it’s more proportional to the bag size whereas imo speedy looks better with Damier prints! The Neverfull in Damier looks like a huge table cloth to me 🤣.

I bought the Neverfull in Monogram in the GM size ... a few months later I decided to get the MM size. I am so glad I have both sizes. I also have it in the azur MM. I guess I need to add the Damier ebene in the MM size. Lol
Aren’t they all so useful and timeless!!! Yes, I now am using a Damier Azur in MM size. That is a cute size in the Damier Ebene!! What will the color be of the lining when you get the Damier Ebene in the MM size?

It helps me to find things because it is a light color, but not so "white" or "ivory" so it is more neutral and chic. Congratulations on your new GM!!! I'm going to purchase my first LV bag soon and decided on the Neverfull for obvious reasons (imo it's the most timeless and classy yet chill purse ever made). For me it's going to be the Damier Ebene look because it comes with the darkest and richest brown shade which is a must for me as I usually exclusively wear black. So the Azur was just too bright for me and I've got to be honest I don't enjoy the Monogram at all. Now the only thing that has been keeping me from purchasing is the sizing. Back when I owned a Shopper for school which was sized roughly like the MM I always struggled because it was SO stuffed but now everyone keeps telling me that they use the MM for daily wear and think the GM is more of a travel bag... I think the GM would be more suitable for me but I also don't want to look ridiculous..

@@hellonini2oo if you're asking me I still think it's a hard choice.. I'm a big purse girly after all so I usually go for the largest size no matter the occasion, unless it's a real fine dining or opera event, you know, but I just really like to have all my stuff with me all of the time so for me it's the GM for uni BUT I know a ton of ppl that bought the MM or similar sized bags like the Le Pliage by Longchamp or the St. Louis in MM by Goyard, though again, I'd go with the roomier GM version, it's really about your personal preferences, just take a good look at your current school or uni bags and recall if you're usually happy with what fits in them or is it always chaotic to fit everything in or is there even some leftover space you never need? Nonetheless, you'll make the right choice for yourself, and (at least for my country) the difference in prices for each size is only around 50$ so if you're uncertain and want to play safe with the more spacious option it's not that much of a financial burden :) let me now if you got one and what you think
@@hellonini2oo oh and btw if you don't want to go for the Neverfull, bc a lot of ppl think it's kind of outdated, the Noe is really cool and in style now and it also has a lot of different sizes and colors, though I think it wears not as comfortably as a normal shopper shaped bag :)

Hi! From what I’ve learned from other RUclipsrs: the answer is no. The canvas is a lot thinner and the symmetry is off more often. I love the vintage Louis Vuitton for the history behind the bag and the quality. Thanks for asking!

I ordered 4 small designer knockoff bags from #HIDUPS and I have currently received 3 items, the last one just arrived last week so I guess I got lucky. Seller has great ratings/reviews. And it wraps really well, the dust bag is real cotton material. I think I'll also be following independent sellers from now on. Great content, please make part 2 if possible.
Is the beige interior difficult to clean over the red (cherry)?
I haven’t ever tried to clean the beige interior because I don’t know how it would impact the canvas but one time I carefully wiped away my smoothie and it still left a water stain. I’ve never owned the red cherry interior but through other RUclips videos I avoided them because they said that sometimes if you use light-colored SLG(small leather goods) the red will rub off onto the SLGs. I’ve owned the light rose Ballerine interior and my laptop corners rubbed a grey stain onto the rose Ballerine. I hope that helps? The bag organizers help but I still had the grey stain from laptop top corners onto the rose Ballerine.

Hi! Let me see. I’m going to first see if I own the 16 inch MacBook Pro. I can’t remember. And then I’ll let you know!
My MacBook Pro is a 15 inch and it fits nicely with about a 3/4inch clearance from the top edge of the bag but no ability to cinch in the sides since it’s width is a little longer than the base of the Neverfull MM. so I think the Neverfull MM may be too small for your MacBook Pro 16 inch. I hope this helps!

Back then the boutiques would let you buy one and initial it for you. On the receipt it would be listed as a “Repair” and it cost me $75. Recently one of ny friends asked the boutique sales associate if she could purchase one and they would not. It was weird. If your boutique person won’t sell you one then I have seen them on Fashionphile for sale. I hope you get one!
