Let's talk about the Z Fold 4's crease

- Folding phones are still a new segment and very few people actually own them. The crease is probably one of the biggest questions regarding the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and the Z Flip 4. There are other folders out there like the Motorola Razer, Huawei Mate X2, and the Xiaomi Mix Fold 2, but none of them have nearly the reach that Samsung does. Let's have a short talk about what my opinion on the fold crease. Let me know in the comments what your experience is.

I've seen almost every review on RUclips about this phone. Among a few others, your point of view in your videos stands out of the mass. I like it. I am still waiting for mine to arrive but in stores, I actually liked to feel the crease. And for a Samsung user, having a curved part on the screen is nothing new (curved edges). So experience will tell! The only situation I "fear" is outside with the reflection of the light.
I'm really happy you appreciate it. And that's a great point. I actually find the crease preferable to some of the phone with severely curved edges.

Finally someone who mentioned this device for reading comics on it! That’s why I’m thinking to switch to the Galaxy Z Fold 4! All I want is carrying just one device instead of two for reading my digital comics and books!
Comics is really where it shines. I hate having to zoom in on the page just to see all the text and art.

The crease on my fold4 is double as deep as on my fold2 and fold3,is that normal ?
Tbe crease doesn't bother me at all. I choose this over the s22ultra I sometimes miss the camera on the s22, but other than that I'm enjoying my fold 3.

Thanks! From what I've seen it pretty much stays the same. It's folding ultrathin glass so there really isn't stretching.
Everybody i talk to about this phone always goes on about the crease, but it's barely noticable when using it
Depends if you talk to owners of the phone or people who just read about the phone.
Your video clearly shows the rumors about Fold 4's crease being smaller than in previous Fold 3 were false. I am sure they might increase durability of the hinge, but all the statements about 4 having better crease than 3 are evidently false. Crease is neigher better nor worse than in F3. It's just 1:1 the same, your video proves that.
Why don't they just call it a note (pad)and put a built in pen better camera and all the top features then I would purchase this in a heart beat.I have had every note why not do the obvious.
Need to slowly build up to that so people keep buying year after year, do it all at once then you can't have that turnover, lol
I can see bezels, notches, and cutouts. But i notice them like .005% of the time
