Do You Suffer From Schizophrenia (TEST)
    What is Schizophrenia?
Schizophrenia is a mental illness that affects the way you think
1 in 100 people are affected
Schizophrenia can develop during early adulthood
The test will be 6 questions where you will answer YES or NO
    The questions are as follows;
    1. Do you hear or see things other people can’t?
    2. Do you struggle to trust what your thinking is real?
    3. Do you feel or think that you are being followed, tracked or watched?
    4. Do you feel that others are controlling your thoughts and emotions?
    5. Do you struggle keeping up with your daily tasks?
    6. Do you feel or think that you have powers that other people don’t understand or appreciate?
If you scored 2 or less YES’S then its unlikely you’re suffering from Schizophrenia
If you scored 3 or more YES’S then its likely you’re suffering from Schizophrenia
PLEASE DO NOT SELF DIAGNOSE YOURSELF FROM THIS VIDEO!
If you are worried please go and see your doctor to discuss how you feel with them OR you can try online therapy here

Excuse me. I will speak out. Ok so if I said no to all of these and my doctor is wrong that I have schizophrenia? Or if I said yes to all and I have nothing of the sort of "mental illness" you are describing does that mean I do not? You are a wolf in sheep's clothing. While your intent is to help, you doing much more damage than anything. If an impressionable schizophrenic was researching something like this, it would go straight to their head! And there are more diagnosis than one strain of schizophrenia. One doesn't step into a box and call it home. If you label us witb 6 fkn questions and call it ham when indeed it is baloney...welp my friend you have a lot more research to do. Are you even someone who understands this community? Cuz you've got of ham cooking to do. I am tired of eating this fkn baloney.

If I have 3 or 4 out of those, but I'm functioning ok. The biggest problem is being in public by myself. I start feeling like I'm being watched. I seen many doctors and they don't care, they tell me just go back to your job and keep working. I really don't want to work anymore. I just loosing interest in my daily activities, just don't care.

I’ve felt like people can in some way manipulate my feelings. It’s not a literal manipulation, but more like being affected by their energy, or how they’re feeling. Though I do believe people do suffer from schizophrenia, and other mental illnesses, and CBT is probably one of the best forms of treating mental illness. Finding peace in ones self, and probably avoiding any toxins that can affect the brain (aka Drugs and Alcohol), can become a natural peaceful way of living. Though prayers and blessings are sent to anyone going through any illness, and I wish nothing but prosperity and positivity to your health.

That's an interesting test to realize if you are schizophreniac with positive symptoms, but schizophrenia is much more than that... some forms of this illness have other kinds of symptoms ("negatives" and "dissociatives") that are different from this ones (for example, struggles with hygiene, desorganisation, difficulty to be confomrtable to talk with others, paranoia, cognitive disorders...).
Apart from this approximations, this is a quite good video : I know it is hardly posible to sum up a whole test in a short video, when psychologists have a test of more than three hundred questions with answers on a scale of 1 to 6 to really get an idea of the degree of illness...

Seeker i scored 4 what should i do?

    • @seeker5169
      @seeker5169 6 лет назад +1

Mateja Ristic Don't worry too much... If you didn't have trouble living with yourself before watching this video, there's no reason to start being uneasy about it. A few years back, I got 11 out of 14 on another test (more precise than this one by the way, but still not significative) and it turned out it was mostly because I was having a depression.
Maybe, before calling anyone for help, take a look at dedicated websites and read more about this disorder. You will learn more kinds of symptoms than those presented in this test, and see if you still have some of them.
If you don't feel well because of these "symptoms" you saw in the video (and I mean, if you already weren't feeling good before learning what schizophrenia may be), you can go to see a psychologist and tell clearly that you came because you think you are schizophreniac. If you don't and only talk about the symptoms you think you have, they may be too discreet and he may not think about getting you a real, official and effective test to find out what disorder you may have. As I said before, it may not be schizophrenia but a depression, or other disorders (a friend of mine did a similar test and thought he had schizophrenia, but it was "just" an... impulsion phobia? I don't know the english name for this disorder.)
So, if you are not disturbed in your everyday life by what you think you have, go on and don't worry. With this kind of "yes or no" test with not that many questions, it is easy to believe you have something when in fact you dont.

I just meant to precise it was not significative, if no one does half of the viewers will think they are schizophreniac, when I am positively certain most are not (I don't know in which country you live, but for exemple in france "only" 1 adult out of 100 is, and with these tests a good 20% people can believe they are, I think)

I always get hung up on the first question in this universal test.
Yes, I see and hear things others can't.
I was raised up to know how to track.
The biggest part of tracking is learning to be quiet so that you see and hear things others may miss.

I have that disorder that sounds like ass boogers (asperges). I was too embarrassed to tell people I had asperges because it sounded like ass boogers. I was always noticeably quiet from social anxiety and barely said four words to anyone, even my own mother. And when people ask me why I was so quiet it gave me more anxiety and really made it harder for me to think of something to say.

A bit later he was home alone and then started spamming my phone saying something was coming to get him. He explained he heard a little girl screaming to him to help her. He has not been acting like this lately but he does seem very uninterested to do anything and has no emotion. He insists he does not see anything now nor is depressed so I am wondering if he needs help

(Like me) May just be sleep deprived, hallucinating or just mishearing or seeing objects around them that appear to look alive. Please don’t be worried, but if you do seriously believe that what your seeing is definitely not normal, please consult a doctor. For your health and safety my children 🤲

This distracted me from being normal bc i was lowkey freaking out in my mind asking myself wtf is happening and i told my sisters next to me and they just ignored me. Either way I think I do and I told my mum about me having Schizophrenia and she said I don’t Bc I wasn’t willing to tell her my reasonings even tho she knowns I hear voices she just doesn’t know I have dreams and see an imaginary person everyday.....

I know what you mean. I'm just 13 years old and I've been hearing voices for four years now. Two of the voices are the ones of my two best friends who died. Now I have dreams where the voices take humanoid form. They say 4 and hit me in the head and then make 4 cuts on my wrist. In my dream it went on like this for a few months until I died. I'm surprised I don't see any one imaginary yet. I went to talk to many psychiatrists but, they didn't help me. they just let me suffer more and more. It feels like they don't care. Sometimes I think it's genetic because my mom has these voices and my mom's mom had them and so on. So is it genetic or is it my best friends that is doing this to me?

There are 3 types of Schizophrenia, and one of them is Positive Schizophrenia, the term positive doesn't refer to something good, but rather means that the patient has one or more traits that shouldn't be there normally, like having hallucinations and delusions "like hearing voices or seeing strange figures that are not real...etc. The other type is called Negative Schizophrenia, which is the opposite of Positive Schizophrenia, in this case the patient lacks one or more traits that should be there normally, like feeling empty and being apathetic or lacking the sense of enjoyment while engaging in normal activities that most people would love to experience.

Last night my mother answered 10/10 on this, but has been told her whole life that she only has bipolar; and had a VERY rough past. Last night she told me her Dr. or psychiatrist has never asked her about her past once, but who knows.

Eh, I was 5 out of 6, however I have OCD with Intrusive Thoughts. I was worried for a very long time I was the most common form of Schizophrenia, which is Paranoid Schizophrenia. I am doing pretty good on the medication I have now. It is 300 mg of Effexor (generic due to their patient issues) along with Xanax.

Talking to normies is counterproductive. First discuss ALL the synptoms to your doctor and be open about why you come to believe you possible need help with skitz.
Then (presumptively that will be a next step) with the counceler or psych, open up in details about the symptoms. :) They CAN NOT lock you away UNLESS you are a danger to yourself or others. If you are a danger, take the help as help and not punishment ma'am ;)
      Short Example:
With doctor. "Yes I hear voices, dont trust my thoughts etc.
      With Psych /Counceler:
Umm well, while in church, i get these visions of locking all the doors, and setting the church on fire, so that everyone including children babies burn and scream alive; but as everyone is screaming, demons decend and start raping nuns, and all the wemon as they burn alive.
^That stuff you save for the psych / counceller not for your general health doctor unless you need to move into help desperately.
However, that moment will forever change your doctor/patient relationship FOR-EVV-VER.
Hold in there stranger friend, and hope things are working out ok for you :)

I think i said yes to two questions. I said yes to the one about feeling tracked/watched. This odd thing happens whenever i have a crush on someone i always think "what if they are watching me?" And then i start acting a certain way, like if im around them i'll try to impress them or whatever and I'll start acting a certain way when im not around them when i get that thought. I know they aren't actually there, but it's something i think about when i develope a crush on someone Idk why.

To anyone out there reading this, PLEASE don't use this as a tool for diagnosis. You can hear voices, and not be Schizophrenic. You can be delusional, and still not be Schizophrenic. Many of the symptoms he stated in here, are also apart of other psychotic disorders. I have Schizophrenia, and it's extremely offensive when I see someone say they think they might have Schizophrenia just because they got a high score on one of those damned tests lmfao. It makes people with Schizophrenia look like a joke.

+Megan Middleton Schizophrenia is also not always a good idea to treat. Some of the drugs they give are extreme.

I mean, I answered 3 out of the 6 questions with YES. But I still think it has a lot more to do with social anxiety than it does anything else.

If you hear voices that sound like the neighbors talking or like the neighbors from outside your window , have a scary typeish anxiety at times or find yourself vulnerable to pretty scary delusions then sadly you have schizophrenia, God bless and stay strong 💪
