Fortunately my daughter and son-in-law raise chickens and turkeys, we have all the eggs we can eat. Also, during deer season, I try to fill my freezer with meat, beef is expensive. I use venison for most thins one would normally use beef for. I have plenty of crappie in the freezer too. We also garden and can our veggies. Great info!
@@haggetthill we are sitting good on eggs and now that I have recovered from alpha-gal the wife and i will be out after venison for winter meat... pretty light on fish though. Never made it out this year. Thanks for chiming in!
Really interesting to learn about how long it take some of the different meat products to be viable for market. I don't think most people realize this, while shopping at a grocery store. Yes the price of eggs has taken a huge jump up again in price. I think when I went shopping the last time, they had jumped by over a dollar. 👍
@@blendedtravels growing up in the backwoods we just take it for granted and expect that it is common knowledge. Hearing reports of the callings in chickens turkeys and beef, we know that is going to be a long recovery.
