What a shame that you still need AI port for ONVIF cams. Was waiting for this unit because I was thinking this was an AI port on steroids. Ordered to quickly from the store… thanks for your good review.
Ai port for smaller residential purposes. Ai key for commercial rollouts. A combination of both if you have old gear that needs a buff. Or just a single key added to a couple of existing ports for a medium-sized deployment. Love the flexibility.

Can you do the natural language search & image enhancement from the iOS app?
Natural language search yes and I can only see the images that are enhances i might be missing a button somewhere.
So for g4 and g5 cameras it does at minimum what the ai port does, so if you only hav g4 g5 or AI cameras you only need this?
You could but the G4/G5 face/license plate detections are added to the queue, if you want real time processing you need the AI Port.
nice features, even is the price is not cheap, but i'm unclear about the number of cameras one of the AI key can handle. There is no max ?
Its down to the processing internally, once it hits 200 in the queue it will start dropping them. Theres no hard limit on cameras.

Same here, why the slit? Would make much more sense the have port and key the same features with just more cams per device
I just received the AI Key. Cannot use it because the Port are always out of stock 🙄
in my case, I have cloud gateway ultra, the app unifi protect is includedin the AI KEY, you know?
The AI Key does not run UniFi Protect
