How ironic was that when the O'Connor guy interviewed Jason Byrne last night? Like Jason, Brendan was a FAILED comedian too! After his short-lived (thankfully!!) career in comedy, Brendan happened to be quite lucky getting a job writing for the Sindo - all thanks to his da-in-law who also worked for the same paper as well as getting another gig at RTE soon afterwards.
