Okay, the glow stick trick was the coolest. The higher the temperature, the brighter it glows, now if it was much colder, it would be dimmer (and far slower chemical reaction lasting ten times as long). Though, microwaving them poses a risk of the contents building up pressure and exploding out of the case (not something you want to get burned with). Now if the glass wasn't cracked, it would first pop and then explode as it blended together (best done inside a glass tube or coffee jar with plastic lid). The mess is quite the challenge to clean up however. LOL
