#SoundPEATS #Air3 #TrueWireless
Dude! I know so many people like my wife who have very sensitive ears and cannot handle silicone eartips stuck inside their ears. I myself have very sweaty ears so we always prefer this style of earbuds 90% of the time because majority of the time, we are not listening to music, we are watching videos, movies, podcast and these are perfect to your ears cool and less sweaty.
I love SoundPeats. They constantly impress me when it comes to price to performance. If I needed a new pair of TWS I'd grab these in a heartbeat. Thanks for the review! ✌️
can you still use the earphones without using the app?
I'm a big fan of the semi-in-ear style of earbud. When I want the best sound quality and to really get lost in my music, I of course go straight to my earbuds that have silicone tips: much better bass and they have sound isolation (especially if I need to block out loud sounds, which is most of the time for me). But when I want to listen to things around the house when I need to hear other people and my surroundings, or when I'm eating and want to listen to something, or when I just don't want to feel the sensation of silicone plugging up my ear canals: my TrueAir2 (the predecessor to the Air3) is an important choice for me to have in my earbud collection. Particularly when I'm eating: if I'm chewing on a food that has a crunch (e.g. carrots) while having those silicone tips in my ears, the crunch/chewing sound reverberates back into my ears and sounds so much louder and can be uncomfortable for me. And if the silicone tips go deep into my ear, I can feel my ear canal squishing against the silicone as I chew. But with the semi-in-ear style of earbud, that's no problem (not to mention I personally find the semi-in-ear style of earbuds very comfortable in my ears). So I'm very thankful that audio companies are still making this semi-in-ear type of earbud, not as my main pair of earbuds, but as an option I can choose for certain circumstances.
Thank you. Ordered one. It's a no brainer for 38. Thank you very much for the code.
Soundpeat H1 for 38. Worth the bucks
Soundpeats mics always sound bad how are the air 3 mics?
@@jcap8391 really ??
@@saifsham I own two different ones and my wife returned the air 2 cause the mic sounded muffled
R they loud and clear for calls to someone on a busy street or noisy environment ??….
These buds are great. You can take these for walking, and you can hear your surrounding, or you buy ahastyle covers and use them at home and the sound will blow you away.
That’s the most natural sounding mic in the channel so far
For Android users that don't want to spend a lot on AirPods or don't want AirPods at all these are the best alternative and they have a lot more features than AirPods! I've had the 2nd Generation of these for almost a year and they've really impressed me so I decided to get the 3rd Generation I just got them today from Amazon and I'm sure they are gonna be just as good if not better than the 2nd Generation.
Woow! Really great and in-depth review! I agree that open-ear buds have its limitations but I always find myself grabbing them in situations that I still need to hear/be aware of what's going on around me. And for this price range, soundpeats TrueAir2 was really the best for me. That's why I was so excited for this review because i want to know what the upgrades are
I have the Air 2s and use them for work to listen to music and take calls. For the price they’re fantastic and the mic quality really isn’t bad at all. If you’re in the market for such a purpose I’d recommend them.
Keep the TrueAir 2's. I own both the 2's and the 3's and the TrueAir 2's sound quality is FAR SUPERIOR!
Soundpeats nailed the True Air 3 with the design, sound quality and price. Knowing that it’s an open pod design, they tweaked the soundstage to prioritize treble and vocals instead of bass so you get near perfect clarity. Despite all that, Soundpeats listens to their customers demands and decided to fit a 14mm driver to compensate for the lack of bass you typically get from a sealed pod earphone. As a result, the sound quality is VERY GOOD and the fitting is so comfortable I often forget their in my ears since there’s no pressure exerted around my ear canal. The smart detection which automatically pauses music when you take an earbud out from your ear takes the icing on the cake. Money well spent on these earbuds!
I have the TrueAir2, and it seems to me by hearing the mic test that one of the biggest upgrades in the Air3 is the microphone quality. That's pretty exciting for those of us who use our earbuds for making calls a lot. Thank you Gamesky for the great review!
The TrueAir 2's sound WAY better than these. I own both and have done extensive testing. Keep the TrueAir 2's!
@@xphyle Good to know!
@@xphyle I ended up getting the TrueAir2+ mostly because of the case. The wireless charging and extra 8 hours of battery life I think outweighed the smaller design.
@@xphyle I agree. Have the trueair2+. If you're for the sound quality it's still the better choice.
That’s the kind of design that I like because it’s more comfortable than the ones that use ear tips.
I really hope this comment gets viewed and helps people... soundpeats trueair 2+ has same specs as this. Same qcc3040, aptx adaptive. Gaming mode. Everything and a Qi wireless charging case for the same price. It's on Amazon UK and USA.
Feels like it was created in transition between the trueair 2 and 3 because it has the same specs as 3 rather than than 2 but it has the case of 2 but with wireless charging. So really the trueair 2+ is the best of both worlds and the real value king as it gives you the same as trueair 3 but with wireless charging
Hahahahaha my dude didn't miss an opportunity to remind us that the open-ear design always lets the noice pass, not even in the Mic Test. Anyway, these can be a really good backup or a second pair for that price
I just can't stand in ear silicone. I get noises every time I move and I even can hear my own blood. I have no choice but to use the original half in ear ones. I am very happy that they make these more again. At least there are some to choose from now and not just the expensive Apple ones that won't work with all features on Android phones.
I'm the same way. Open design ain't for me either but I do see the need for them on the market. Awesome video bro!
I can sleep sideways on my pillow with these which is nice :D
Well done as always---I agree with you about the open design, but must say the mic test sounded fabulous. Look forward to hearing your thoughts on the Jabra Elite 3---thanks!
Literally just bought the TrueAir 2+ like a week ago! I don't mind they have wireless charging and that actually was the selling point for me. So I guess I'll wait for the inevitable Air 3+ that will add back the wireless charging.
They just came in. Very comfy in ear just as I expected. I didn't expect them to sound like my few other pairs of earbuds from Sennheiser and JBL, and they don't.
Highs are really harsh, every letter S and similar sounding letters are very harsh. Voices are good, I was thinking to use them for long podcasts, but this harshness in every other word is disappointing.
For music they are fine, but not for critical listening.
Have they been able to better "polish" the final part of the earpiece that enters the ear canal? I have the TrueAir 2 and when I use them for a long time I feel as if they scratch the part of the ear where they rest
i think mine are broken, only one of my airpods are connecting, saying "paired successfully, if i play any audios or videos, the sound is only in one airpod
Another winner from Soundpeats - great video thanks. I’m similar in that I’ll never be fully satisfied by the sound quality of a semi in-ear design but these have their place in the market and are pretty much as good as it’s gets for this style.
Just bought these, they're fire, I really don't like silicone tips and absolutely not gonna get trashy ass airpods. Thanks soundpeats
Can the casing for AirPods 2 fit on the Air 3? Hoping that the dimensions are the same so I can find casings for these babies
I’m pretty excited about these. I’ve been waiting for prime day to make a buy but I’ve found lately that when it comes to sitting around my house or trying to play games with earbuds my ears just don’t like being plugged.
Surprised me to realize because I love anc when I’m out and about.
I bought this and ı am using like 3 months. My experience is great . Sound , mic , sound level is great and price is also affordable than his competitives
they wont work after couple months, I thought it was mine with that problem but if you look at reviews from others who bought it on aliexpress many have same problem, especially right earbuds. I contacted the seller, no refund. 30% price off if I buy new one, why would I buy another one if I know it wont work after couple months.
I bought these and won a pair from SoundPeats a month later. The sound quality is good for the price
How are the mics?

Thanks for your review. Blessings on your day.
Hi Gamesky!! Huge fan and love your reviews! I was hoping maybe you could make a video on the best wireless headphones/TWS for the Nintendo Switch? Since they've finally integreated blueooth in them!
R they loud and clear for calls to someone on a busy street or noisy environment ??….
How to fix if the other airbuds doesnt have connection
Would love to have an updated review now that the app is available.
Hey, Gamesky do you want to check the new brand Logitech headsets for young people, thank you. 😎😎 and I have a question if I need a lightweight headset with a good microphone which one should I bought.
mine don't work when recording video, the native mic is what picks the sounds not the airbuds
please make a comparison between soundpeats air 3 and soundpeats T3
True air 2, is very nice audio. My only bad i can find, is the open air design, it let in too much outside noise. Is Air3 a successor of True air 2? I love both type in ear or open air. I bought another open air tws, Edifier X2, just be more comfortable when I'm out walking. I also love my Soundcore Life P3. My recent purchase is leaning to open air tws. In ear is seal great, but when outdoor it is really isolated, both ears isolated not too comfortable for me. In ear with their great seal, are good when indoor with noisy neighbors.
The Soundpeats Air3 is indeed the successor of the Soundpeats TrueAir2. I have the TrueAir2, and although I don't have the Air3, it seems to me one of the biggest upgrades is the mic quality. I'm a big fan of the open ear design, but if you'd like a comfortable earbud with silicone tips that seal your ear that is very similar to the TrueAir2 style and at a similar price, I'd recommend the SoundCore Life P2 mini.
Good review! Battery life (buds & case) seem very poor for 2021 even at this price.
@gamesky how does this compare to the Sabbat x12 ultra? I currently have those and love the sound but the mic was meh so I am considering this one.
Are you going to do a video about the oneplus buds pro?
Looks like the stem style earbuds are making a end of year hit... hope you review an earbud im very interested in your opinion of the Jabra Elite 3... have a great day
The green light on my case doesn’t turn off when i put the earbuds in. Is that normal?
I cannot answer whatsapp or messenger calls with them. Is there a seeting for it?
I just get mine...they are amazing but i have one concern...i only use them until the battery goes to 70% and the then i put them in the case.is it better to use them until 20% before charge again?
Should I go for Edifier Tws NB2?
Im searching for a good budget wireless earphones and Edifier Tws NB2 looks good
i used Lypertek Tevis before and I really like how they sound just perfectly balanced and wish to search for similar sounding earphones so Is
Edifier’s good or do they lean on a more specific kind of sound? or is the Tevi’s the better sounding earbuds?
Or should I go for these SoundPEATS instead?
how do you turbn up the volunme. The volume is so low .
I'd love to hear what u think about the Airdots 3 pro, I've seen a few reviews but none seem to say anything meaningful, I loved the regular airdots and I've used them for a long time and I'm wondering if I should upgrade or do I get something else
What battery timing you guys are getting on yours? I am only getting 3 hours 40mins
Good review. Thanks for the code!
i lost mine and bought the same thing, they have switched to a matte plastic so it falls easier from my ears :(
How would you compare these earbuds to the soundpeats t2 that also has active noise cancelling?
Should i get this or Airpods 2?
Hi. Which is better, this one or jbl tune 225tws? Thanks
Which has the best microphone, the air3 or the flybuds c1
So can u tell me if this is worth it? I need some good Bluetooth earphones
Would this be the trueair 2+ on their website?
Thanks for the detailed review! Is there a code for Canada?
I see that the air 3 has been removed from their site, and listed on Amazon as unavailable. Does anyone know why?
Does anyone know if these switch to a mono mode while using one earbud? I had the air 2 and while using one earbud I was missing half of the audio, which sucks because I listen to a lot of rock/metal and I was missing out on guitar harmonies and what not.
Hi, always enjoyed your channel, especially the midrange earbuds comparisons. Now the Jabra released a midrange product can you please review it and add it to the ranks. Thanks!
Never ever been a fan of this style type of earbuds period! Wish those drivers were in any of my collection!😅 I want to apologize Keith for totally forgetting that u did do the Sony's in June, not only did I see it already but I gave it a thumbs up, I gave a excited comment😫. Sucks that my memory hasn't been good lately😥 but I really appreciate all that u do for this channel dude, mad respect bro, thanks again for another great video, stay safe!
i have been buying soundpeats since they started as kickstarter. fantastic products. however i found with their newer truair earbuds i have difficulty keeping them in my ear. i'm not sure if it's the sizing or material.
Which has the best microphone the air3 or flybud c1
Hello brother, Which one got the best mic (in terms of cellular calling) among (within $80) half/semi in ear earbuds ??
Could you review the soundpeats T3? I do not see any reviews for that pair yet! :)
At the same time can I connect with my laptop and phone (Samsung)?
Do they stay in your ears? It seems like they would fall off easily.
Next one the sennheiser cx plus? 🤔 🙂
As a Mexican , thanks for the code man
How's the ear detection? Is it bad?
How are those compared to Trueair 2 soundwise?
Thanks.
No annoying LEDs anymore?
Very happy I watched this before buying. I follow all the soundpeats social media pages and was watching the countdown but already have the Tranya M10’s that are bass focused with the same size driver. I don’t think I’ll be picking these up. Great review and in depth analysis as always GameSky😁
You should check out the earin A3 and monster mission V1 earbuds
Good for android?
Try on the new t3
u look fit to day sir! nice review👌
Thank You so much for sharing
Good microphone. Impressive 👍 for price.
Is it right that they don't have a app?
They’re not available in it yet
This is great buds with small money '' I recommend it
These are currently $7 on Amazon
Can they be used one bud at a time?
yes
@Secret Agent Steve I have the TrueAir2 (which is the previous model to the Air3), and as far as semi-in-ear earbuds (the style of earbuds that have that open air design) that you can get on a budget go, they have some of the best sound quality. The AirPods are better in sound quality of course, but not by a hugely noticeable amount (I've tested the AirPods with the TrueAir2 side by side, and that's my subjective opinion). So they do a very good job. One of the biggest differences with the Air3 in comparison to the TrueAir2, it seems to me, is the mic quality. So if you're looking to make a lot of calls that seems to be a reason to get the Air3 over the TrueAir2. But if you're just looking for a good semi-in-ear earbud to listen to music, then either these do a fantastic job and I'd highly recommend them. (I have several earbuds from the Galaxy Buds Plus to the Anker Liberty Air 2 Pro, and I really like the TrueAir2 when I want to listen to music on an open ear style bud.)
Bought em for Black Friday..kinda loose tho. I guess my ears r bigger or something. If I really exercise I’ll prob worry about em falling out
Nice review as usual. I am not a fan of open air earbuds, nor am I s fan of the stem style.
I've got the Samsung Galaxy Buds+, Earfun Free Pro and Soundpeats Sonic earbuds so, gor now, I'm fairly well set up.
I'd be hard pressed to equal the sound quality of these 3 for the price (the Galaxy Buds+ were a gift and they're terrific).
GameSpy, keep 'em coming.
ok i think you dont like open-air design. We get it.
Why dont you do more than words and say a score from 0 to 10, a number helps more than words, so we buyers can compare, think about that.
The upgrades of this model from the TrueAir2 seem very minimal. I’m gonna keep my Soundpeats TrueAir 2s.
The TrueAir 2's sound WAY better than these, despite these having a larger driver. I own both and have done extensive testing. Keep your TrueAir 2's!
So my favorite Soundpeats earbuds of all time are the Soundpeats TrueAir 2 wireless earbuds. I actually owned a pair for a few months and fell in love with them. They ended up dying and I liked them so much I purchased them again and enjoy them to this day. They are my go-to earbuds and I used them every day in the gym.
These earbuds, the Air3, are the next iteration/sequel to the TrueAir 2. They're smaller, they have a slightly larger driver, and they have aptx adaptive support. But here's the problem. THEY DON'T SOUND AS GOOD. I just got done testing these with my TrueAir 2's and the TrueAir 2's sound MUCH better. I can't describe how crisp and clear the sound is from the TrueAir 2's, but the newer model Air3's just sound muddy in comparison. Almost as if you've got a piece of fabric between the earbud and your ear that is dulling the sound quality. Bottom line, stick with the TrueAir 2's. They will blow you away I promise. Sadly, I'll be returning these.
What about the bass Quality between 2
If they add fast charging and chi-wireless charging in the air3± even if I have to pay more even $80 I'll pay then gladly
Its just like the exact copy of soundpeats trueair 2+ except for the case.
Hell yea
Have you lost weight??
Auto pause feature ruins these brilliant earphones 😔
Everything is good except the battery life 🙂
Nice
good
You dislike the design that is fine but dont bias in your comments!
