Thanks for these. My wife is deaf and partially sighted, so we use a mix of lipreading, sign, finger spelling, and writing to communicate. One problem I have is when we get deaf visitors in church, I have difficulty signing, as signs for many word don't appear on the online dictionary at Vic uni. Any chance you might do a series on signs for use in church? God, Jesus, Christ, Son, Holy, Spirit, sin, faith, forgive, believe, save/salvation, Christian, Satan, evil, hell, heaven, Bible, teach, truth, Lord, grow, blood, born again, church, glory, hope, joy, praise, preach, etc?
When signing do you sign according to the word you are saying? For example te reo has a different sequence, ko Tracy tõku ingoa, Tracy my name..when speaking in te reo do I translate exactly how it is said? Sheesh i hope this makes sense 🙏
I think I understand what you’re saying...if you’re asking whether you sign each word you’re saying (if you were to sign while speaking), then the answer is no :) NZSL has its own grammar and doesn’t have a sign for every word. So when translating a language into NZSL, or translating NZSL into a language, it won’t make grammatical sense. - hope that helps and makes sense haha :)
Hey! From what I know, it doesn’t matter. I’m left handed so I use my left as the dominant hand when it comes to pointing and the actions. But if you’re left or right handed, just use whatever is most comfortable :)
Thanks for making it easily to understand how to use the hand movements correctly.
And the explanations with it as well.
Your instructions are very clear and concise. Your teaching and sharing is amazing and beautiful. Thank you Annalia
This is so much better than the sign causes I was taking
I love your videos, straight into it and easy to follow, thank you

@@AnnaliaGrace hi. no. you use your dominant (aka writing hand) and always stick with the same hand. you should NOT swap around.
