There are old climbers and there are bold climbers, but there are no old and bold climbers. Knowing when to turn back is critical. And as you have so wonderfully demonstrated, the mountain will be there for another day. Epic!

That shows Knoydart's weather to a tee. A beautiful day between the showers lower down but unremitting stormy conditions high up throughout. I believe it is the wettest place in Britain. It's a hill you definitely want to be doing again and again. So many routes and interconnections with other hills available. 10/10 yes most certainly.
Ladhar Bheinn looks like such a rewarding hike, especially with that remote Knoydart vibe! Taking the ferry from Mallaig must add to the whole experience too. Congrats on ticking off another Munro, looking forward to seeing the next one in your journey to climb them all! 👏🌄
Brought back great memories. First climbed Ladhar Bheinn in 1985 getting a lift in a boat across from Arnisdale to Barrisdale and then it was my final Munro of my second round back in 2014. On both occassions similar weather to yours so nae views. However I have had views on other Munros and Corbetts in Knoydart. Enjoy your final Munro ATB Paul
Ladhar Bheinn is one you absolutely must return to and do the classic Horseshoe from Barrisdale Bay. It is a stunning place on a good day... Love seeing the emotions. I had same moment on Conival as I neared my conpleation.. Great Stuff James
Good effort in tough conditions 👍 - I kayaked across Loch Hourn (Corran to Barrisdale Bay, climbed Ladhar Bheinn, then made my way over to the other two Munros. I wild camped on the ridge between them before heading down to kayak back across the loch. The weather was perfect except for a very windy and nerve wracking return crossing!
Just amazing James been watching your videos for a few months as I've just started my own journey, 7 bagged in the last 6 months your videos are an inspiration, some of the drone footage you get is just a awesome 👍 look forward to seeing you conquer the mighty cmd and complete your journey
Another great video, I do hope you get good views on Ben Cruachan though. I did that last summer in "atmospheric" conditions, I can't wait to see what I missed!

Looks a tough walk in horrible conditions. I came in from Barrisdale stayed in the bothy and climbed the 3 Munro’s including Ladhar Bheinn in similar conditions. A very tiring day. Back for another night in the bothy. Like you I was nearing the end of the 284 Munro’s round. However once getting back to Kinlochourn we were told of the death of Pricess Diana. A total shock. Look forward to Ben Cruachan. Well done so far.

God, your hike to Ladhar Bheinn reminds me of hiking to Beinn Challum back in early September- a bit of rain, a lot of wind, a very swampy and wet path, and cloud-capped above 2000 feet. But by God I kept on going as I would not be denied that Munro! I hope you got views on Ben Cruachan- that's a special one that one.
Mental conditions, I was up here end of August and could see Skye and the Cuillin Ridge. You couldn’t even see the summit from the first top 🤣 Great video nonetheles
Well you finally managed it 👍 Think you put some pressure on yourself to finish these Munros by a certain date , else you would have done this in a nicer day 🤷♂️ Blue sky's for me mate , you will just have to do another round of 282 👍 with more good videos 👍😅

that was the route i took as i was down at the bothy but it was a scorchio day so different challanges

The place is midge hell in the summer so you need a good strong wind at that time of the year. I was lucky to be there in 1976. Sunshine all summer.
