Thank you for sharing your March update. You have some beautiful pens and great ink combos. We have similar tastes when it comes to pen size. I always appreciate your videos.
I love love love this color pallet. Stonecutters song is one of my favorite inks. I have PSC inked up for April (another favorite ink). Thanks for sharing about the white lightening. I wanted to put Stonecutters song in an EF next month and I will definitely try adding a smidge of WL. I really should do the totals page like you do. I need to get my arms around what I have.
You have some great pen and ink combinations. I like that Robert Oster ink. Good chance I will explore that one. I like blues but I have to be careful with high sheen inks because it can potentially trigger a migraine. Excellent video!!
So glad I could assist in funding your new pen purchases, and take an ink sample of your hands 😊 And I have to say the fine nib you sent with the "at the edge of oopsie" pen might be the smoothest jowo nib I have! 💕 was it tuned by chance? Either way, I absolutely love it! Had to go with iroshizuku ku-jaku for first inking, but will try your sample next!! 🤗 teal inks are my fave 😍

I'm commissioning a Silverburl in the main body material (different body style and finial color) because I am so obsessed with yours I haven't been able to get it out of my mind!
I did the same except I went with the silver series but same colored finials. I love that strata quartz material and was so happy to see Karyna’s custom since I missed out on the stilo x Leonardo pen.
Should bottled ink be swirled before filling the pen, similar to paint but not shaking, just swirling. I was always told the pigments coud settle to the bottom.
Some people say not to shake because you get bubbles, so most say “agitate” the sample or bottle to move the shimmer particles around. Because those do settle at the bottom. Regular pigment does not seem to settle.
I’m going to adapt this to my pen and ink inventory. I love everything you do. Please keep the videos coming.
Thank you so much! 🥰
I really enjoyed hearing about how each of the pens wrote etc. Thank you for sharing and have a wonderful weekend 😊
Thank you Jayne! 🥰
I really like the Ferris Wheel Press Edwards Gardens. I might have to get it. All of your currently inked pens are beautiful!!
I have it and it is definitely a favourite!
Yes yes yes to Edwards Gardens!
Edward’s garden is going on my wishlist. Beautiful combo with the Pelikan!
It just had a couple moments of hard starts but when it flowed, it was beautiful!

WL is a game changer to those dry inks! Totals are definitely a personal thing - it works great for some, and others don’t want to know! 😂

I am like you, Courtney! I cannot do high sheening inks for the risk of migraines!

Yay! And I believe Terry of Hogtown Pens does do a bit of tuning before he sends them off!

Thank you so much for your kind words!
I have a spreadsheet where I keep shop info, pricing, etc. as well! It helps me keep track of everything!

John is so lovely to work with. I may be thinking up another commission with him soon! And that Strata Quartz material is a stunner!
Was the Leonardo EF tuned and smoothed or did it arrive smooth? Thanks!
It was not tuned, but I did need to run some brass shims through the tines and do a bit of an adjustment to the alignment. Now it's beautiful!
