    Quick question. When you flipped the equation for iron in galvanic cell(you wrote that Fe is losing electron, why didnt you flip the sign for E*?

    Im confused about this sir. If electrons flow from higher potential to lower potential, then why cathode has higher potential than anode? +potential > -potential.

      I think we say electrons flow from higher potential to lower potential because we are considering conventional current flow(which is the assumption that positive charge carriers cause current flow). But in actuality electrons flow from negative terminal to positive.
