Discovered Palace 2 months ago and I am so glad that I did. I can't believe they don't get the recognition that they deserve. Their entire album is a straight vibe... I am absolutely in love with this band now.

Most underrated song of 2017... the voice is so powerful
From my perspective, the girl is in a battle of self-confidence. She hides herself. Often from herself as well because she almost acts weird when she sees her own reflection. Throughout the video, she's seen trying to remove the blanket from her head and body, signifying the inner battle she's having. She's fighting to free herself from herself.
I just listened to them both back to back and this version is 100% better. The guitar pluck they added right after “it’s gonna get better better better” just hits different to me idk

This song speaks to in a way I don't think I can explain to another person. Every line he says I relate back to a love in my life. The tone of the song. He even sings like him.

So much love for this song, not too much of a fan of this video, I definitely prefer their first one, but both versions of the song are perfection in their own right. I adore Palace. They're the one band I've never gotten sick of listening to. 💙💚💛💜❤
Found this band around the time I started working and drinking all the time. I got kicked out of college but still partied in the same big city, nothing but money and time to waste. Needless to say I was not myself but I had certain friends that, although at times I felt critical, never left me without a cold drink and a couch to sleep on. I’m 21 now and still have a lot to learn, but my golden years were definitely 18-20. Sounds sad but it just doesn’t feel like it used to. But that’s okay, cause this music will be here forever!

no it just means people are less inclined to dig deep and find music on their own or give other music a chance then be fed what's popular and "good".
I think i have dozens if not hundreds of friends around the globe that are really well in touch with good musicians and small niche artist circles. it's just we need to increase word of mouth. sweeping generalizations about modern society don't do less-known or undiscovered artists any good.

So you guys are crapping on this version cause you like the old, shaky, unprofessional sounding off-key one? That was the first one I heard and I was so glad to find this version like 3 months ago on a different channel. They didn't remake it for Vevo, they improved it for an album they made a while back. I think they did a really good job on this new one, much better than the first.
It's much better than the first, and to say that, isn't shitting on the raw feeling that original had, it's simply pointing out the fact this song is in key and flows way better than the last. The guitar riff is incredible in this version, literally gives me goosebumps on the beginnings of the verses.
