Khanyisa Runs To Catch Up with her Herd While Elephants, Fishan & Zindoga Shake the Fruit Trees!

- It’s a wonderful sight to see the herd at sunrise in the reserve and to watch them marching towards their favourite green thorn tree! Little Timisa and Khanyisa are in luck as Fishan shakes the tree with his trunk and immense weight, loosening all the fruits in the tree. The fruit drop to the ground and the other elephants hurriedly pick them up to eat. Zindoga copies Fishan and tries his hand at shaking the tree, also managing to loosen the fruit. It’s a great feast beneath this canopy, as Limpopo, Bubi and Kumbura all join in! What wonderful ways nature provides and how adapted the elephants are to their environment!

Good for Fishan--even smaller of the herd try to use their trunks and wt to shake the tree., But Fishan, with his tall body and greater wt, is able to do more. Also thought the same thing as first comment, except that if K is around 1500 lbs, the others are " Massive " in size walking next to her.

I love looking at the elephants' feet. I'm in awe of how they all walk so silently. If they didn't give a snort or a trumpet, I don't know if I would ever hear them coming up behind me.

Poor Bubi.. we know how much a tragedy when we're young can seriously affect us. I imagine it's much the same with these beautiful creatures. I'm just happy that now she is surrounded by love and friendship. Every time I see Khanyisa with her herd, I'm almost shocked at how small she looks - about the size of a large dog.. But we all know she is actually almost as tall as a man! I so love these videos! Thank you for them all..
She's such an extraordinary and resilient girl. The herd loves her so much, too.

Tamisa strikes me as being so delicate (rather an odd way to describe an elephant) and I love to watch her walking. She has captured my heart since the first time I saw her. Bubi is really impressive, and I feel such empathy for the way he was forced to start his life. As I do for all these beautiful elephants. Bless them all with all their different personalities.

I love seeing Khanyisa running and playing, totally carefree, with the security of her loving family. The fact that little calf had the strength, determination to survive with that trap on her head is testament to her will to live. ❤
Yeah. I wonder if she somehow knew that better things laid ahead, even before being rescued while injured from that trap. She may've already sensed that her life would get better and that she wasn't going to die.
@@alvexok5523 - Quite possibly. They are very intelligent animals. Her determination may have been her desire to go find her mother. Remember, she was just an infant. She saw her mother leave with the herd. That must have been unbearable for both mother and baby. Fortunately, she was found and rescued. She was one of the lucky ones.

An absolutely lovely way to start the day. There are so many individual moments and scenes worthy of commenting on I could write a book. That scene with Bubi with the sunrise behind and reaching out with that long trunk somewhat to Adine is extra noteworthy to me. Moreso knowing Bubi's need for space in order to feel safe. I could easily watch an hour of this kind of video and then wonder where the time went. Thank you for all you do as well as the videos. By the way, the information about elephant trunks (and octopus arms and snake tongues) is pretty amazing.

A gorgeous morning sunrise with one excited Braveheart only one thing is on this girl’s mind catching up with the fam eager to see what adventures await those ever growing feet and curious trunk. I love these early moments with the herd as the bush is waking up it’s so calm and peaceful with the light framing each of them against the trees in search of a sweet fruit it’s absolutely breathtaking. This can definitely be marked as one of my favorite sunrise videos with the herd there’s just something about capturing them like this with the sun coming out perfectly that’s just pure magic thank you for this treasure of a scene.🐘🐘💖💖☀️☀️

@@nancyevans2586 bubi might be severely traumatised, like some humans , it can take a very long time to heal and trust again. Bubi might not ever forget or heal from trauma. I don't know

I’m figuring LUNDI who sleeps with Jabulani and her son Mambo. Right now there’s only 3 sleeping together in that group where as for instance Tokwe has like 5-6 I think. Limpopo, Pisa, Timisa, Kumbura and Fishan. Maybe they will also move Kumbura over with Lundi since they seem to be bonding so well out in the field and she’s such a devoted allomother to Khanyisa. That would make the most sense to me anyway.

Fishan always devoted to the little tuskers and the youngsters providing them with delicious fruits Fishan has now a follower in the person of Zindoga, good boy who also tries to provide for his Family Bubi can be proud of her beautiful son and with the help of her best friend gentleman Fishan Zindoga will have the best of Ellies' education

Given their total recall/memory, I marvel that the orphans in this herd + other herds don't exhibit more emotional issues. That is a great testament to Herd's quality care + the Jabulani herd's bonding. BRAVO!I wondered IF ellies sneezed...🤔 +

I just love seeing Meisiekind running to be with her HERD. Today's video was just great, seeing them all together peacefully picking up the fruits from the tree. I also love it when Khanyisa spends time with the ever-gorgeous Timisa. I just love her to pieces. The Carers are very special people. I admire them and respect them immensely and so does the HERD :)

Hehe it's like when you put your money in the vending machine and the packet of xxx gets stuck, so you've gotta push the machine just a but to give it the bump to make the packet fall so you can retrieve it. Fishan was just giving the fruit vending machine a bit if a trunk check (like hip check) to get the tasty treats to come out/down. Way to go Fishan! Saving the day :)

Fishan el enorme elefante 🐘 camina despacio ,porque después de la operación de fractura debe saber cómo camina y por dónde va

They usually seem so peaceful that folks tend to forget. I remember, a year or two ago, the clip when Bubi was really upset and threatened the people. She had a scary youth and they are large enough to be dangerous. Folks can't forget that.
Our little girlie girl looks so big, then she gets with her herd, and is small again. Wonderful, enjoyable video.

My favorite part THIS TIME (I watch over and over), is Zindoga trying to mimic the Big Bulls and shake the tree. It's so incredibly human to want to be "GROWN UP AND DO STUFF TOO".

No right now she’s still sleeping in the nursery with Lammie and Nungu though they have their own section of it to themselves. As soon as the weather warms up with summers arrival Braveheart will begin her transition to the stable with the rest of the herd full time,she’s currently being weaned off her night bottles in preparation for her move.
