Didn't know about that undo shortcut I always tried double tap as it is in other apps although I'd rather use the eraser in object mode which is accessible at your finger with the pencil 4:30
What’s the trick for making uppercase letters. I would use my pencil more but feel like the corrections take to long and I end up bringing up the keyboard to fix them.
Is there any hope for a softer tip replacement (from Apple) - even with PaperLike, it still feels too slippery and there is the annoying tap-tap-tap of plastic on surface. I use silicon tip covers, they are quieter but take away from the precision of the pencil and therefore the overall writing experience.
New subscriber here. My wife and I just bought a couple iPad Air 5 with pencil (2nd Gen) so we are brand new and came across your video. Thanks for sharing
I really don’t know what Apple were thinking with their original Pencil, just sticking a charging connection on the end, because it could get dirty at times (if you Lost the protective Cap) I imagine and even fall out if your iPad was stood upright, more shocking though is how they still insist on including it with some of their newest iPads today (I think its the colored ones). I am really enjoying the newer pencil though, especially with the new Hover-feature where a cursor or dot appears (only on 2022 Model iPads & newer) when the tip of the pencil is in close enough proximity to the screen! The way it charges it is so much better now too!
The biggest issue I have with Apple Pencil 1 (and probably 2 too) is that it won’t recognise my handwriting in German or Dutch. Works better in English. That’s why I stopped using the Apple Pencil in general for writing.
How do you work so effortlessly with the Pencil? I recently got a new iPad Pro and drawing on Sketchbook isn't as fun cuz the pressure sensitivity is so less nor is there any way to increase it in the iPad OS so I find myself putting extra force on the pencil against the screen to draw thicker lines..
you don't really believe that this hipster freeloader uses even one of her presented products herself...?! She would not present any of these products if she would use this seriously... the just babbles her given script off
Isn’t there pressure control in the app? I use procreate & you can change how much pressure sensitivity you want I’m pretty sure even individual brushes have them in procreate I suggest checking the settings first your brushes
I couldn’t get the Paperlike app to let me buy it. I kept pushing the button but it didn’t work. I have an iPad Air 5th generation and I didn’t say it was compatiable with it
I highly recommend trying a triangle grip. Or a grip of some sort. Since I incorporated it I unable to get a good hold on the naked Apple Pencil. The alternate fine tip that I use plus the grip has improved my handwriting so much.
She says she gets negative comments about the screen protectors she uses, and I’m like- why?? What’s so negative about matte screen protectors? 😂 I think they’re easier to glide your hand across than regular tempered glass.
If you heard her she said the reason is some people find the pencil tip wears down quicker with a screen protector due to slightly greater resistance between protector & tip.
Plosives. Plosives. High quality content, but PLEASE control plosives. Pop screens, so on and so forth. Take care of that and your content becomes 200% more trustable.
Why do you have to play music in the background very hard to concentrate with tinnitus especially when you speak so fast please help the older generation with no technology training, other than that your presentation was good,
maybe, but i actually really like her voice because its so calming and soft, so watching the video is easy for me. Watching something super hyper like Mr. Beast is actually really annoying to me, and i can’t stand it because it is way to high energy. Her voice is perfect for me, so it must be perfect for others as well, so it really depends on her audience. Considering there are over 160,000 people who viewed this video with 100k+ dedicated subscribers, her voice isn’t actually all to bad. if you don’t like it, thats fine, but tons of people do! 😊

trick is not wasting 100s on stupid apple products
to make an uppercase letter you write an uppercase letter instead of a lowercase letter
Amazing!! I think I need a course to follow. I am 64. This is fascinating. I just got an 2nd gen Apple Pencil.
I am very interested in the planner, is that in Goodnotes?
Great stuff!
OMG FIRST
I always learn something new from your videos ❤
Ordered the retractable Pencil case rn! Tysm for showing us that! :D
Most helpful and lovely calming voice - thanx
Great video. I'm getting my pencil today and you've given me a valuable start. Thank you 🙂
For the first tip, in goodnotes u can esaly undo by double tapping with two fingers. It's way more convenient.
Thanks for this tip❤
Had me at “esaly”? Spellcheck please.
@@kernlkajun1 easely was meant 😂
@@Oldnose63it’s easily 💀
Amazing video I learned so much today. I saved it for future reference.
A heads up for anyone, tip 2 only works with the second generation Apple Pencil, not the first generation.
I actually reused my tip from my first gen and put it on my 2nd gen… and it works!
@@SevastiSmiththat’s not what they meant…
@@SevastiSmithhow do you have a degree and still say such STUPID things. Must be a woman.
Hahaha. This 😂😂😂@@Gorefarded
How do you find the "hold to shape tool" for notes on iPad mini?
Hi. Please help me with Tip 5. How do you activate it?

What’s the name of that calendar app? It’s so cool

Can you also Scribble from handwriting to text in your Apple Calendar?
Hi. How do I change the options for the pencil like using the theee finger and double tap please

Great video, super helpful!
I have a knock off pencil stylus that is similar to the Apple Pencil . Bought the pencil from Amazon and I love it so much.
How did you get the screenshot option to go to full page??
What calendar app is it that you are using ?
The screen mirroring thing is game changing!!!thank you for sharing it❤
Do you know if this feature works on iMacs (the desktop)?
@@kaythabiti9479 I have iPad 10th gen, Pencil usb c and Macbook M1, doesn't work fine with me tho

Apple Pencil has pressure sensitivity..
@@casperghost1467 I mean the pressure sensetivity seems low when I use certain brushes and there's no way to control it

I use procreate & you can change how much pressure sensitivity you want

FYI, first gen pencils work on Ipads Pro 2015 and 2017 (1st and 2nd gen)
Excellent presentation and narative.
What size iPad do you use? I may have missed that part.
This was really good;especially the last tip. PS I'm writing this with my Apple Pencil
Is there a way to swipe from the bottom left for quick notes?
You can change it in Settings.
How does a paper like screen protector affect the color and brightness when viewing a move or vid?
Cool video and great ideas. Will use your links.
5:50 Would be handy if you told us how to highlight the written words 😉
Excellent video. Thank you!
What was that planner app that you were using in tip 1 and 2?
I couldn’t get the Paperlike app to let me buy it. I kept pushing the button but it didn’t work. I have an iPad Air 5th generation and I didn’t say it was compatiable with it
Very nice vid, lovely presentation and great tips.
Great Video and I learned from Tip 8😺 also if you write a phone number you can press/hold to call it !!!!!!
Depends in which country you live I think.
Wow. Very informative. Thank you!
Gen 2 also works with iPad mini 6
I really don’t hate you for using a paper like screen protector and I’ve also been watching for nine months I am addicted
Really helpful, thank you!!
This helped me
Awesome tips, thank you so much.
Pencil 2 also works on the Mini 6
Very helpful video! Thanks so much!
Can I like write while my palm is touching the screen without ruining what I’m doing?
Settings > Apple Pencil > Only Draw with Apple Pencil. Turn on. This will stop the ipad from recognizing your hand as an input
yes in settings also goodnotes have a setting where you can pick which style you hold your pencil to help with palm rejection as well☺
I just got my iPad, what are you on at minute 6:40?
What iPad do you use and have
How do you active Tip 5. Please assist me understand the same
Good info thanks
Nice job on this video ❤
Great content and thanks!
Is the scribble feature only for pro and second gen pencil?
Nope. I have a 2018 iPad (6th Gen) and 1st Gen Pencil. Scribble works great on my device. You need to upgrade to the latest OS, though.
I used Paperlight and i hated it. It made the pencil pressure sensitivity unusable.
This is Great thanks
Thanks
I love my Apple Pencil but it’s now slightly bent from my grip 😢
I highly recommend trying a triangle grip. Or a grip of some sort. Since I incorporated it I unable to get a good hold on the naked Apple Pencil. The alternate fine tip that I use plus the grip has improved my handwriting so much.
Are you using ipad pro ?
Yes she is
Tip # 1 did not work on my iPad Mini 6th gen (it's the latest model)
how do yu save as pdf? ı can see it
My Apple Pencil is 2 days old and I need to replace the tip already because I somehow broke the tip of it 😂
There are 3 Apple Pencils now
I have a one year old iPad Pro 12.9 and just bought the apple 2 pencil and it won’t sync won’t work at all. What a POS
How do you setup the pencil in settings ? Thankyou
"Let's get right into it".... 4 minutes later... TIP #1

Sadly scribble doesn’t work for all languages. I need to write letter by letter to use Scribble in Dutch, and that’s too slow and very inaccurate.
True! Unfortunately i only discovered that when I already bought the pencil.. little bit disappointed :/ hopefully it’ll be available in Dutch soon 🤞🏼
Yes same here. It’s awful.
Not only for s c r i b b l e but for all writing in apps.
Apple has since released Apple Pencil USBC
The second tip did not work for me
Opps I mean the 3rd tip
😍😍😍
Where do you think Apple Pencil v3 will go in 2024?
It will be a mechanical Apple Pencil that you need to click the lead out to use it. And refills will be available.
The 1st gen works with 12.9 pro 2nd gen…
מדהים, מה המתכון לפיצה?
What i find hard is to buy genuine Pencil. I've seen so many replicas with the price of original

Why she need to speak loud and clear when she already did
Everything ok in home?
She spoke too fast and no clearly
you can just turn the volume up and put the subtitles on.. corey its NOT that hard.
She wasted 4 min of our life😅
why dont you just boost your voice
Whispering, almost whispering and vocal fry are all a bit on the annoying side, and they signal that your topic is not very important.

IPAD 9 is fantastico. Power up the gazatch for a normal user. Ergo, Pencil 1 will do you well for half the price.
