Wonderful to hear your voice again Charlie.... For 20 years this show was how i would wind down from the events of the day... Charlie, you were missed.
Good to see you Charlie. I love you very much. Thanks for all the years of priceless interviews. Hope U are doing OK. That you don't have a place on broadcast TV is NUTS!!!!!!!!!!!
The speaker asked a true and valid question about Iran and questing what right it have in its interference in Iraq, syria, Lebanon and even gaza and I agree with him, but I also ask him what rights isreal or the zionest state have to kill and accupay palestinian, Syrian, lebanese land and dispel millions out of it and treat those remaining less than animals, what right this guy with a perfect American accent have to come and accupay someone else home while most palestinian can't even visit. Perhaps the answer is simple, the palestinian have no rights because the are poor people with no one to back them, just please stop the hypocrisy.
Excellent discussion and the persecution of Jews has been a tragedy, and undeserved. But persecuting and dispossesing the Palestinians was a re-enactment of Jewish trauma on another people and a stain on Israel, and this may never be wiped out in the memory of palestinians? There's no perfect answer, only segregation of peoples that hate each other.
Accidently came across Leon's opinion on time/speed in our day to day modern life and found him insightful so I thought let's see what he is about. It's so interesting to see an intellectual have such a biased opinion...and by biased I mean delusional. Nothing said about the suffering of the Palestinian people and their collective memory. On another video he talks about Spinosa and the value of reason and how this enables people to be more compassionate.
Why we always remember the conflict between Israeli and Palestinian people only after tragedies?. We had over 70 years to fix and develop a 2-state solution. Who benefits from all these sufferings at both sides other than the arm dealers? I was hopping that the event of October 7th to bring a discussion about peace and not the same old recipe.
Nevertheless, Charlie , you are the best in the business. The best . Everyone else is just a joke compared to your skill and breadth of knowledge and honesty.
I don’t know that it is correct to call it a POGROM. The Cossacks and Russian villagers were not squeezed into a little settlement, with their rights denied! The parallel is false. Of course I condemn the atrocities.
Netanyahu ? I am suffocating with anger. guilty ? hear our sufferings. a strategic failure ? see jews as refugees in their own country. today our strength lies in our civil society.
Inappropriate comparison with past pogroms of the Jews. The many pogroms in Jewish history were carried out as a result of anti-semitism and targeted Jewish communities which had nothing to do with terrorism or violence. The 7 October event is different. Although a horrific and barbaric massacre, it was an event of reaction to acts of violence continuously being perpetrated by Israel. Simply and bluntly put, the name of the phenomenon is "Reactive Violence versus State Violence."
I do hope for a 2 state solution but who can the Israel deal with? When you have a separate Palestinian State how do you control them from bringing in Iranian troupes or missals. Didn't there has a 2 state solution that was rejected by the PLO? Israel has with the settlements makes the 2 state solution impossible.
There is a smoking gun about the Iran as a mastermind of October 7 attack. On Monday, October 2, Iran representatives met with Hamas and others and gave the green light to Hamas to attack Southern Israel. WSJ published an article about it.
ask the simple question .. do the jewish people have a right to their own country on some portion of their ancestral home .. yes or no ?? since 1948 too many arabs still say no !! and we never hear of a non-violent policy from anyone .. they still refuse to accept the fact that israel is there and sadly until they do this will continue ..
In my opinion no, Jews has no right to establish a country in Palestine. Jews, however, have the right to be in Palestine and worship as they like. If you come from a historical background, Nabateans were in Palestine before the Jews. Moses asked the Jews to enter the promised land and they refused . Accordingly they were punished by getting lost in Sanai desert for 40 years. If Jews are genuine about their origin then it will be Egypt. That is where Moses came and liberated them from slavery.
The Jewish people have the right to be there but not the right to subjugate others or steal other people's homes. It's not that difficult to understand.
no they wandered the desert for 40 years until all those who had been slaves were gone and only free people would enter the promised land ... @@ahmadbanihani6024
Leon, Leon, Leon. the response is being done in a calculated, segmented way, not "massive and brutal". The tunnels will be taken in a strategic manner, little my little, Hamas will not know where the IDF will strike next. Israel has the time advantage and using it well. I don't understand you, and my family perished in those very same trenches in Galicia.
Leon could not find a better interviewer than a guy who groped the women who worked for him and sexually harassed them (but he did not think it was wrong at the time and was consensual). I am leaving this interview.
but who owns the lands that Hamas fighters entered? why israeli Jews have little land deeds? google who owns the land and u shall see it at the UN's website who has been squattering on Palestinian lands for the past 76 yrs google for Palestinian land deed and u shall find thousands Hamas fighters sir entered their land now in light of this fact who is the savage? sir we have been replaced and dispossessed for 76 yrs

welcome charlie- niceto listen to your programs again; what about the slaughter of innocent palestenians- were the troops on the west bank trying to occupy more of palestine rather than protect the land around gaza..The sad fact that the liberal and moderate families got hurt and not the orthodox- who ran back to ny- instead of defending israel;

If you care at all, you will really listen to this man…

Now, understand more clearly what prof. Chomsky talked about.
Charlie Rose needs to come back
Welcome back Charlie

Loen,...forget the one bomb that was reported wrongly...what about the other 5.000?

Could you please interview, for balance, professor Mearshheimer of university of Chicago.

If Charlie wasn’t wrongfully cancelled we would have avoided all the stupidity of the last 6 years
You missed in pbs ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Mr Rose, Please let this guy TALK without you jumping in and not LETTING HIM FINISH HIS THOUGHT!!!
And they also don't support a military rule 😭
welcome home Charlie
Great
Why is Charlie in a dark room?
The "grand bargain" was Saudi's arabias participation in pushing the Palestinians into the desert.
Biden is perfect 😅

What right do Muslims have to their own countries, in lands they conquered from Christians and from polytheists?
The Jewish people have the right to be there but not the right to subjugate others or steal other people's homes. It's not that difficult to understand.

Why did you even bother showing up? You knew everything about the interviewer before even clicking. I'm here to hear what the interviewee has to say.
