with regard to yamato, yamato is kaidos kid who identifies heavily with oden and wants to be/live like oden so theyre sometimes referred to as kaidos son, but yamato is very much so a gray area with specific terms
I dont think this deck will go to S tier in the west, but the banlist has the capability to change that. RP law disappearing would be a dream come true
@@richardshiflett5181Can you elaborate on this? I have done extensive testing and never found this card to be good at all, yet every list maxes out on it. I cut it a long time ago now and never missed it. What does it do for the deck at all that Viola for example doesn't just do better while also not conflicting with a 6 drop Katakuri?
@@Aazzlanonot saying it should stay but if you still have 3 or 4 life and you play him down you put a new face down life card. Say that yellow 0c event is a face up card now you can move your face up card to the bottom of your life. You’ll have your face down cards on top to use puddings effect again and now that event is at the bottom which helps you gain another life if it gets that far. The life manipulation is really helpful but I’m not convinced it’s needed

Now I'm only missing a defensive yellow leader that also wants to play 10lin (kata is too midrange/aggro for me) Also, you said pudding isn't having much success in the east, but data-wise is the second op08 leader with most success, after kalgara
I have probably legit put in about 50+ hours with this leader so far on the sim. I have never played a deck I not only love and enjoy as much as this one, but also have had the most success with too! I've tried out SEVERAL variants of this deck but by far my favorite and most successful was quite a bit different than yours. I actually wrote out a whole long almost essay on Reddit about mine lol (although, I've made a couple minor tweaks since I last wrote that Reddit post). I could literally go on and on about the card choices I made but the RUclips comments aren't the best place to try and fit so many thoughts into lol. Still, even though I play her slightly different than how you do, I still really enjoyed your spotlight on this leader!
I’m rewatching this and i realized a really good alternative to the 6c Katakuri turn 3, let’s say they didn’t attack into you, play Bon Kurei to ramp 1 active and then play Viola to put all cards face down so you can ramp again with leader.

Match can be changed to play or anything similar. The discord in the second title is if you want to market that aspect of your content.
One piece spoilers: Yamato is kaido’s child, but they want and think of themself as Oden and wears the knots and strikes similar poses to emulate him. And yeah they ate a zoan fruit that lets them transform into that fox looking thing, I think it’s based off a deity. Hope this helps!

It's still an up hill battle against multiple 10Lin drops, but if you don't attack face when they have 2 Life cards face up, then they can't double ramp in 1 turn with Katakuri + Leader Effect. It's much more manageable at that point!

That’s if you don’t see katakuri, and a better play than Newgate. So 3 different plays for turn 3 to get to where you want depending on board state
