Any modern nuke would destroy the mountain and complex. Designed in the 1950s when nukes were not that accurate. Now, any nuke or MIRV, with a direct hit on top of the mountain would be the end. Primary maintained for HEMP and/or EMP threat, which will do far greater damage to North America then nuclear strikes.
