I'm not one to comment on a video and say it's good, unless it's good. You made it well, easy to follow, gave extra detail to add context, weren't at all poncified or dismissive and so massive thumbs up from me, it's a rare thing these days, please keep up with it.
Thank you for the great vid. I like to begin with Cold and Dark. I think it's a great part of the experience of flying the 47 or any AC. I hear a lot of people say they don't bother cause once you do it it's the same process over and over again. If they are to impatient or bothered with it then why do they fly? Oh well. I think it's part of the overall immersion of the game. I do wish the replay had video recorder contorls as in FF, Back...ect. Like your videos and look forward to seeing each one. Thanks. WM
I really like the look of this mod, but I'm put off warbirds in general after buying the Spitfire. The horrendous (but reputedly accurate) ground handling of the Spit killed any desire to fly warbirds in DCS, and it's the only mod I regret buying.
It’s not impossible... Just keep on practicing and you’ll do fine! (After all, even I can do it...😄) Once airborne and trimmed out, she is such a joy to fly! It would be a shame if you were not to enjoy that... Don’t give up!
For some reason never liked american cockpits. In world war 2 Italian cockpits had the most style, German were not bad as well. Soviet ones were crude but classics. British were so so.
A happy coincidence. I just bought the P47- my first DCS warbird- last weekend. Loving it so far.
Good choice!
Pascale, this is the best startup tutorial I've seen for the Jug. Thanks!
You are welcome

It does have FF, Left control and z, left alt and z to slow down.
I think this is some kind of strange virtue signaling or something.
Great video TP!
Nice one TP!
Thanks bud
Love your videos, (and you accent).

You get used to the handling eventually, anticipate its movement

Aren't you supposed to take off and land with the canopy open in the P-47?
You can if you prefer to. I close it for noise.
