Yes you can mix two or more metal leaf even in the same application of size. If you are leafing over top of leaf, then you will need to reapply your adhesive size. So go ahead and have fun!
Watching many tutorials, I saw one where they used wax paper to pick up and transfer the leaf sheets. Perhaps that will help. I haven't tried yet myself.
Metal leaf application always has cracks, edges and small reveals. The coloured background adds depth to the colour of the gold. It is a traditional technique.
I actually kind-a liked the music.
Can i put simple leaf on a cured varnished acrylic painting?
Nice - I need services for this type of work..
How durable would this be inside leather debossing?
Pure Silver does not tarnish. Sterline sliver will tarnish because it contains 7.75 percent copper
Just curious if I can apply gold gilt and then apply copper gilt on top of that for a "two tone" effect?

Can you do a video about gold lefting on glass.
Leafing on glass is similar technique but burnishing is done with a special tool called a agate burnisher. I am no expert just a practiced amateur.
Some of the people in these comments... Who goes to a tutorial to complain about the audio.

why do they call the glue, "size"?
Edited for time and coarse language 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Aargh you are killing me with that music, thank goodness for the mute button. For the actual vid and technique:- thanks
I hate that song now. 😡
Look at you complaining about music on a fucking tutorial to help you. Put your problems in perspective.
Kill the music the first minute was ENOUGH
We’re always experimenting. Luckily as a viewer you can mute.
I don’t get why you used paint then covered it with the leaf? Makes no sense
