The "speed mori" is if the person spun a 20 on a chest and you steal the "piece of Vecna" back from them. :)

Languid Touch is actually pretty good, if youre chasing a survivor and they have DH or SB, it kinda just cancels it out
Imo it can be a god tier perk in indoors maps like lerys oŕ hawkins because crows are really close to each other .
It has a second mori but its not technically a mori like the pyramid head. Allows you to mori people on second hook if they have the eye

Skeletons definitely feel like a herding tool to force survivors to either take a bad path or duck
I honestly like the concept and simplicity of Dark Arrogance, it’s just that not blocking windows and gaining a downside for an extra 5% vault speed when compared to bamboozle is laughable. It should be 30-40%, with maybe an increase to 33% for the downside, because right now neither of the effects seem super impactful
Yeah, 30-40% for sure. Hell, even 25% kind of makes sense. But 20%? Now that's just a joke.
What happens if you use it with bamboozle and something like fire it up? I wonder how fast you would vault then

@@JayZone73 wraith can reach 215% vault speed with Dark Arrogance, Bamboozle, Fire Up, and Superior Anatomy while using his vault speed add ons. (gives him a 0.7 vault speed which is only 0.2 seconds slower than a survivors fast vault)
Why it benefits the survivors more than the killers is baffling honestly. Its more of a survivor perk than a killer perk right now LMAO. The upside is literally worse than the downside.
You can duck under the Skeletons. Unless Vecna uses his Iri Book Addon which makes them fly lower
I've seen survivors still be able to duck under them with the iri unfortunately.
I really like Weave Attunement! It's an all or nothing perk, but I've gotten a lot of value across matches. If there's a toolbox gamer they're either oblivious or have their aura shown whenever it's drained

The Bardic Inspiration perk on survivor will be to me what the pebble is to you.
9:56 That special mori animation is what happens when the survivor has either the Eye or Hand of Vecna artifact from the chests.
I do think this new killer is very cool *looking* and *feeling* .. but his power is just kinda sad all around really.. people can crouch under his skeleton ability unless he brings the iri addon to make them fly lower, but that makes you only launch 2 skeletons. The hand slows you down so much you can't even get a hit before they make a loop around again to the pallet, especially if they get that magic item that gives them haste when you use the hand (thats super common btw). And the survs can get aura reading on you the whole game when you use abilities.
So you're basically a m1 killer who can kinda fly around, and even thats super limited because all of his abilities have insane cooldowns.. the orb is alright but once they get the item that lets them see the orb its also useless.
Also i should mention, the eye doesnt just hide your aura. It makes you completely *INVISIBLE* for 12 seconds with no scratch marks as well. Both the hand and the eye are insanely overpowered against him.
Edit: also, credit where credit is due, the new map is sick, though i will say it is WAY too big and hard to get around.. m1 killers are gonna hate it.
I think the overall cooldown could have anywhere from 2-5 seconds taken off and then have the flight recover maybe a half a second or so sooner. I would also like to see the skeletons be deployable sooner because it is very easy to just crouch for a millisecond and get out of that power. But I do love this killer and his potential
We were all in a SWF and in Voice Cast. It was fun exploring the new characters, new perks, and later we got to try the new map🦊

His perks are made for other perk combos. Combine bamboozle and enduring eith dark areogncet. Item one with franklins, crow one with spiee from shadows

Can crouch under the damaging skeletons, has an add-on that makes it so you can't crouch under it but reduces it to 2 skeletons only.
The special mori requiers the hand and eye items you can see that the kill said recover artifacts

Weave Attunement isn't that bad, actually. Pair it with Franklin's Demise and it's actually nutty.
Run it with Bubba begrimed chains addon and get an extra perk slot

They should make so that while you're playing the guitar, you have to play a rhythm game.
So when you mess up you'll sound like a new guitar player trying to figure how to play bar chords for the first time.
As someone who plays the guitar I can confirm that bar chords were the bane of my existence

Weave Attunment is actually not that bad. It's got some counter play in that people will often just not fully deplete their items, but it's still a near info perk. Plus you could combine it with Franklin's to really hone in the "fuck your medkit" mentality, which is very fair with how powerful items are nowadays.
Same with Languid Touch. Being able to shut off the option of Dead Hard, Lithe, etc. mid-chase is stronk.
It's definitely an interesting concept, and legitimately seems more balanced than recent updates with new killers & survivors. He seems fun to play, as well as being really fun to go against. There's a lot of potential here for future buffs! I would definitely make his skeletons a bit better, but overall I think he will be an awesome addition to the community.
The mini mori only happens if the survivor you kill is holding the hand or eye of Vecna. Instead of seeing M1 to Kill, it will say Recover Artifact instead

The survivor at the end of the first game had your eye and arm. And if they get downed with those items the mori changes.

My issue with the killer is too many abilities, and to me, they feel like repeats of current perks and powers. Like blood favor, artist crows, and nurses teleport. I guess I just miss simplicity of the game

@@pegeta i wouldn't say the worst, but he's very underwhelming. you would expect a lot more lethality from Vecna considering his reputation in dnd. i think they tried to make him a jack of all trades, but in trying to balance him that way, they made all of his abilities very non-threatening. as survivor on the ptb, i've been having a very easy time outplaying him.

I'm wondering if this is gonna be one of those killers that everyone below 5-digit hours says is awful, but a main with experience shits on all but the best teams.
Remember that tons of people were saying The Unknown and Chucky were gonna be horrible.
@@veraducks I'm not too sure. He's in a weird spot where he's technical but also doesn't really have a high skill ceiling. I really think that once he gets some tweaks to make everything smoother, he'll be a decent well-rounded killer. He doesn't have very good anti-loop which is kinda what kills him. His one ability that can injure people sounds good because it has no collision with objects, but the hitbox is awful and it can be countered by just crouching for half a second.

sadly he is pretty mid, every spell slow you down to the point where is useless to use them in chase (even for spell like mage hand that is clerly made for chase) and the only spell that do damage is countered by pressing a single key
Needs some batteries included and rapid brutality to catch up
The skeletons not hitting crouching survivors feels unintentional, like that’s a glaring flaw for a projectile, in theory you should never land a hit unless they straight up don’t know they can crouch or they’re locked into an animation. And yet, one of the iri addons specifically lowers the height of the skeletons so they can’t be crouched under, meaning it IS intentional. This is such questionable design philosophy.
Could say the same for power that lifts downed pallets, like you can potentially fuck over God pallets… but you’re resetting the pallet for it to be used again.

In my opinion, Iri Book + Horn is exactly how the skelly bois SHOULD work. Only three, you CAN dodge between them, but you need to actually dodge, you can't just crouch.
They go through walls and travel pretty far. The hitbox could be wider, but I think people are trying too hard to use it like a Huntress hatchet + Artist bird.
Vecna is incredible. .... incredibly bad. HIs 4 abilities are so awful at what they do it's honestly impossible to consistently do... well anything with him without making a build with his addons that specifically caters to one of his abilities. HIs Iri add ons make him at least somewhat bearable to play, but that in of itself is a problem considering every other killer in the roster can hold their own without Iri add ons.I hope they do something about the slow down on his casts and fix the bugs with his flight ability, because holy shit this is starting to look like a twins situation.
