My man, another great video. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and work! The question for this video is simple, you talked about losing saturation. Are you able to add a oil glaze after oils have dried to up the saturation again or change the hue a bit?
And I’m glad you’re back and enjoying the progress buddy warms my heart. For the power sword you really only need 1 layer unless you’re planning to enter a comp then you can go for more. Otherwise yes once the layers are dried you can use a transparent paint - thinned slightly and just brush that over the shadows
Hey man nice channel! And super informative content! The terminator and bounce light relation is new to me - kudos!! I subbed and I’m looking forward seeing awesome stuff from you, wish you all the best and keep it up!
I bought some value pack oils, hated the coverage… bought artisan oils love the coverage. I only wish I didn’t choose Battle tech mechs for the test models be good lord they have extremely small panels. Only other problem I’m having is that my ring light and magnifier are not having a fun time with the Glossy nature of wet oil paint.

Beautiful mate. Excellent tutorial and great format!
Thanks my bro following a good example 🥰
Thanks for this brilliant tutorial. With the prime glaze, do you leave it to dry for any amount of time, or just go straight in with the next paint?
😊

To fix that buddy start with a Matt primer when the oil begins to dry it will lose its gloss, and just check the properties of your paint
So it's oppasity
Getting the right level of opacity is important
