Bruce was it. His complete book of karate was the more popular work because he put the work out there. This was very good in its day. There were not very many books available' This was for me around 72.
Bruce Tegner's book on savate was my main motivation to get started into boxing. The punch mechanics in this book was not terrible, but it got me interested in joining a boxing club. So he was directly responsible for my life long interests in the martial arts. So I think that Tegner's contribution to the martial arts was to introduce many of us to the sport by these mass produced cheap books.
I bought the books 'Kung Fu and Tai Chi Chuan', and 'Jukadô' here in Brazil(1989). I've never seen any demonstration of Jukadô besides the book itself.

Yup his books were what they were.....a martial arts book. Better than nothing.🥋🙄
The Kung-Fu show was really fun. Still watchable today.
