Just here to say seen this vid yesterday and did it today. It legit works without a jack. Took me longer than it had mainly because I was trying to put the belt on differently than he did in the vid and had no room to reach the bottom/back...so then my dad began jacking it with a jack that required too much work so we paused for about an hour...i settled down and rewatched this vid and snaked the new belt on exactly how he did in this vid and it worked in about 10 mins. Thanks so much!

Lmao.. the guy completely changed the way he looped it around at the 2:25m point... Just make a loop, slide it over the crank pulley all the way on the bottom back, go over the first idler, under the bottom middle pulley, under the bottom front pulley, under the idler pulley, put tension on the tensioner and pull the belt over the alternator..

Any reason why you didn't replace the tensioner and idler pulley at the sme time??...or at least inspect them??
I can't loosen the tension with the socket.. Do I need to put more force when I pull the bolt towards me?
