Thanks for the info. The first shop I took my car to said the squeaking was my AC clutch going out and gave me a $475 quote to fix. I had a friend tell me to check the condition of my serpentine belt. After checking and seeing cracks everywhere, I spent $30 and changed it. All squeaks gone and no AC issues!!
Mate!!! This rates as one of the most satisfying jobs I did on my Toyota Corolla.. your diagram was the bomb! Cos mine shredded.. and I was done in 3 mins literally!!! WTF! hahhaha... Keep turning out content mate... You've just earned yourself a subscriber! ❤
I've changed mine six years ago and about 40000km have passed since (I know it's low milage for so many years but this is my need) oem Honda belt for a 2004 Accord, I remember the price was a bargain, got it from ebay UK but the quality is great. So far so good, probably it will offer another good years of usage. Bought a new one from Bando which is awaiting if something bad happens with the one already installed on the car. I've read Bando and Mitsuboshi are oem for Honda and probably other manufacturers so good quality.
When last did you change your serpentine belt?
I have one in queue with harmonic balancer. Just waiting to get a quite days to start it
Nice. Also waiting for a quiet day for some repairs. Lol.
it will be very soon lol thanks to you
22 years. 2002 original. 53000 kms or 31500 miles. Belt is not worn but bando is super dry
Thank you for the straight forward no nonsense video. And 10/10 camera angles!
Thanks!

Good good. Cooler weather should would also affect longevity I would imagine.
Yea, Mitsuboshi and Bando are OEM for Honda.
Great info bruv
Thanks, mate.
Belt does not want to go on. Almost there but a few millimeters too short.
I've had this experience with a cheap aftermarket belt. Is the belt OEM or from an OE manufacturer like Bando, Gates, etc
@@DIYAutoworksNG Bought another with a few mm longer and that worked.
So uou used a bando 1880 which is factoryToyota aftermarket
I know gates is ok too
But I went with Goodyear
Less squeaks hopefully
