Well done. Thanks. Was there 50 years ago when I took a trip down the Colorado starting at Lee's Ferry, with the ARIZONA RIVER RUNNERS company. Great trip. Remember well the Vermillion Cliffs. You do good work!
@@CactusAtlas well it was, until my car broke down at the very end on my way back to Phoenix 🙄, broke down just north of Flagstaff... I had to have it towed all the way back to Phoenix, luckily I had AAA.
This video brought back some fantastic memories of a float trip from the Glen Canyon Dam to Lees Ferry. I especially enjoyed your cold dip in the Colorado as I took one myself near where the petroglyphs are before Horseshoe Bend. Thank you for resurrecting this experience!
I'll have to ask Glenn when he's around as he knows better that I do. As best as I can tell off hand, yes and no. Vermilion Cliffs National Monument is managed by BLM which generally you can fly in. There is, however a strip in between the Natl Monument and 89A which is designated as a Wilderness Area and typically those are closed to motorized vehicles (drones included). The Wilderness Area's website does state drones are prohibited. I'd recommend calling and inquiring as I'm seeing a lot of debate online among other licensed drone pilots in that particular area and I would really hate to give inaccurate information.
This will be on our list for next year! We just finished the south rim a week ago and monument valley and four corners was included! Next year will be the north rim! We don’t have a boat so we have to drive!
So much going on here i'm doing an instant replay. Loved Glenn's heartfelt response to the cold water! This is a professional quality travelogue, your combined skills are top notch. Thanks Amy and Glenn!
I definitely respect and believe this man, he was put on here to teach us what he learned from his elders and I appreciate the fact that him and his crew have recorded him so that we learned from the ancient ones,he's awesome keep up the great work.
We use to find rhenium in the smokestacks at Magma smelter operations in San Manuel, AZ. Cool stuff to play with. One of its uses was in the flash bulb on cameras. It was the element that flashed. Smile 😃 Poof!
WOW!!Lots of stuff to do n see. Don't think I'll be walking on that bridge, fraidy cat. Hi Amy n Slim.
The bridge is pretty sturdy thankfully. 😅
So many incredible sights in this area of the country! Great video!!
Couldn't agree more! Thanks so much! 😊

Thank you so much! Very cool! One day we'd like to do a bit more on the Colorado River. 👍
Love this area!
Us too! So much to do and see. 🤩
About to finish a video including most of these spots on my way to Zion...such a beautiful area!
How awesome! I hope is was a fantastic visit for you! 😊

I love the Arizona Strip, arguably the most beautiful part of our state! Thanks for the compilation video!
Agree with you. And we haven't even been to the good stuff yet (White Pocket, the Wave, etc)!
This place has my heart. The most beautiful and undiscovered place in the west.
100% in agreement with you. I really kind of has it all - scenery, history, plenty of outdoor activity... We're already itching to go back. 😄
Loooooove this part of the state. (You can probably tell by my profile pic, lol) And 89A is one of my favorite highways here. 😍
It's a great party of Arizona. One of our favorites too. 😄

Glad you enjoyed it! That float trip ranks as one of our favorites as well. 😊
Thanks Glenn and Amy. Missed Slim on this one but you did a good job Glenn. Want to visit that area. Never been there. So very beautiful.
Slim was taking some well-deserved time off after a trek to some Southeast AZ locations. 😉😊
We’re gonna cruise thru there on our way from Page to Vegas. Are u able to fly drones around the Vermillion Cliffs?

Ooooh! The North Rim is amazing. Sadly I think driving is a better option as I hear boats aren't great on pavement. 😅
Loved the video ❤ Thanks for sharing! Hi Slim! lol
Any time! Slim is on assignment at the moment but I've no doubt he sends his regards. 😅
Keep up the good work! Love your videos.
Thanks, will do! 😄
Thx for the cool video
You bet! Glad you liked it! 😄

Goodness! Thank you so much! 😊
I noticed that you changed the pitch of Slim's voice. Better, but I prefer your natural voice.
Odd! I'm pretty sure neither Glenn nor I changed Slim's voice. 😶

Sorry this was supposed to be a comment from
Traditional Navajo teaching. Not this channel. I really enjoy this channel too.

How fascinating! In the smokestacks. 😶
@@CactusAtlas yea. It's very volatile. That's why it flashes. Found it on top of the furnaces as well.
Usually love your videos! But that robot voice made this unwatchable for me.
Thanks for the feedback!
