@KatrinValo398 what he meant that it feels almost impossible for many artists to reach that level . It's untouchable in that way . Here he sounds far more humane that is reachable if one were to put his/her soul , passion and effort .
True, although to be noted, these are his final days/months. He is 41 here. He is amazing here regardless, like you said, but his voice definitely wasn't going to be as technically consistent as it did in 2000s. Love him forever.

Guys, relax. Powerless and Victimized were on the same album and look at how they contrast. Just because this song might be soft, doesn't mean all of them will be like this. Either way, I'm excited for this new album. I enjoy their soft music just as much as their energetic songs.

I can’t stop thinking about him. I can’t believe he is not physically in our dimension anymore. I keep thinking I’m going to see him again performing, or in another interview, etc. But he’s gone. Even two years later I’m still mourning. We all are. It’s going to take a long time to heal our hearts, but I know he is with each and every one of us. He still lives inside everyone’s hearts. He was such a kind and gentle soul. His light lit up the whole world... you could see it when he smiled and sang from the heart with all his compassion for doing what he loved.
I hope you and Chris have found each other again, Chester. We all miss you so very much 💜

To all the people bitching about the poppy sound - You realize these guys have been musicians 20 years right? That's an entire quarter of a lifetime. A lot can happen, they were young, they changed, they grew up. And no I'm not saying that their old style was immature. But once people hit that plateau of mental maturity, some things stay, and some things get left behind. Their music style was one of those things that changed, and grew along side them.
I'm not even a Linkin Park fan, but I have huge respect for them. I've been there since the fiirst album was released, somewhat following their releases from the outside (not as a fan), and the only thing I hear is growth and maturity. But ever single band out there has fans like this - fans that cling to nostalgia and refuse to grow along side their favorite bands. These are grown ass men trying to make music that inspires and speaks to people, and they deserve much more respect from these people who seem to think they're the ''all decider of what's good or bad music Jesus's" in the comment sections.
They've grown up, you should try it too.

Love that beat, it's really neat to here it on an LP song. Such a new path for them. I'm loving this song already. I'm gonna be honest, I thought the lyrics were pretty dull when I read them but they sound so much better being sung over the music. Still can't wait for this release!

Couldn't even hear this song when it came out. It's beautiful, and Chester went hard for it. It hit the radio on the anniversary of my brother's passing. Chester's passing also hit because Linkin Park, Breaking Benjamin, and Incubus were what I needed at the time. His heart and soul live on through his passion for music, and I'm so happy that we had him, as brief of a time as it was, he touched so many lives that needed to know someone understood
I started loving Linkin Park in 2003 when I was 11… I grew up with this music, they have always been with me through my ups and downs. Thank you, Chazy Chaz. You will be forever in my broken heart 💔

Watching this makes me cry. I personally did not know Chester personally but I’ve been listening to his music since I was born (literally my dad listened to numb from the hospital). I’ll always and forever have a love for linkin parks music and will always shed a tear for Chester.
