I think the first caveat for this video needed to be that you will NEVER accumulate wealth unless you consistently live BELOW your income. Because statistics tell us that most of us are over-spending and under-saving.
Time is something we can't buy which is why those who are wealthy are always looking for ways to gain time back i.e. cleaning service, outsourcing, personal assistant, etc. This video was very well put together. I'm consistently wanting to learn about the way wealthy individuals think and work.

63 is super young, my mum has just managed to convinced my 88 y o grandmother to invest her money in short terms investments. She's really happy when at the end of the month she has 90$ more than if she left the money into a regular savings account. She's not making millions obviously but it's better than nothing 😊

I also have a list of differences (I call them attitudes) of the wealthy, and my list has nine items on it, and only two of them sort of match your list. Please let me know if you would like to see my list of nine different attitudes that anyone can adopt. And I only have one thing I disagree with, but it was not your list. It was a comment you made prior to starting your list. You said money can change who a person is, like they become less empathetic. Instead, I believe the quote from Warren Buffet is very accurate: "Of the billionaires I have known, money just brings out the basic traits in them. If they were jerks before they had money, they are simply jerks with a billion dollars." Your other comment that we do ask questions and want to make our life easier is also something I agree with. Asking questions is one of the key items on my list of nine attitudes.

I make good money, and have spent years perfecting my budget lifestyle, so I have extra money at the end of each month. I'm confident that my retirement savings are on track and I'm saving for a mortgage down payment next year. When it comes to my 'time value,' I try to avoid outsourcing - where possible. I'd rather learn how to do something myself, and keep my money, thus extending my time value. I've learned how to cut my own hair, cook restaurant quality meals, do my own landscaping, book keeping, home organizing, furniture restoration... I actually enjoy learning new life skills and save thousands a year by DIY'ing. If you approach these life duties as therapeutic, you can simultaneously relax while trimming trees or chopping garlic. I could get another job, but I'd rather learn skills for free while maximizing my cash flow. The rich seem to live for excess. I love little luxuries like weekly flowers, spa days and good wine.. I always make room for a few, but overall I prefer to live life more simply and get more out of time (ex. I travel quite a lot, I took 12 months off last year). Living a rich life doesn't have to mean living with excess. Just maximize what you have, and realize that time is fleeting.

No longer did I have the overwhelming task hanging over my head. I lost weight, started dating again, and was really enjoying life again, until I had to file bankruptcy. Lol back on my feet and beyond and reconsidering it for the benefits it gave me.

When we moved into our house I told my husband I wanted to have a house cleaner-we both agreed it would be a marriage saver. He works long hours and cleaning paralyzes me and stresses me out. It has been so great, but I admit I vacillate between feeling thankful and guilty. I always have to talk myself out of the guilt of not doing it myself! Today I had a few urgent errands to run. I paid my younger sister to do them for me while I work on my online job. Also. Paid a lady to come do my laundry at a small fee just so I can get more time to do my work and still accomplish other tasks. As I turn 30 I've come to realise that time is very equal to money. Use it sparingly 😊
What hit me the most was the relaxation and dedicated vacations for myself, I have been working for a year without taking a real vacation and I am feeling stressed miserable and I feel like I am wasting my time. Even during weekends I have lots of things to do and take care of that I feel that I don't have TIME FOR ME! Thank you for reminding me of this, I needed this.

Outsourcing is super important in your career. Example; I'm great at social media planning for books, but I'm not good at graphic design. So, I teamed up with another member of our staff and she did the book release graphics, and I did all her social media posts. We ended up with a great launch line up for our next title.

I think it would be really useful to define what "wealthy" means in this context. There's a difference between acting "wealthy" with your money and being rich, and there seems to be a lot of confusion with that in the comments.

quick advice. next time filming a person wearing glasses, use a defuser instead of ring light. If you diont have a defuser just use a shower curtain or a white sheet in front of your light. It will help loose this terrible effect when the ring light align with presenters glasses and eyes. ;) *thanks for the video
This is hard to digest as someone who has only experienced financial stability for a 5 year period in life that I was blessed with a inheritance of 10k to invest in myself.. I was able to buy a used car, then to fix that used car when it broke down not long after. I paid off previous debt I couldn’t afford to get my license back and my first queen size bed from a charity. I also had to buy basic furniture and household items for my apartment and better quality stuff for my daughter (single parent). I saved, used my 1st credit card to only cover my car insurance policy for 6 months and then used my student loans to buffer monthly bills, credit card payments and maintaining adequate budgeting... Between the cost of living, my part time job, full time student, daycare, etc. I worked my credit up and had savings for emergency and for my daughter... But with no support system and rent prices rising exponentially toppled with trying to navigate my daughter’s sexual trauma that occurred... things quickly fell apart. See when your poor... If you stop at any point before being able to make it to “the peak height of a rollercoaster “ 🎢.... well you fall as fast as a skydiver free falling to earth. I spent years and years of hard work... was a few terms (4 classes) away from graduating with a bachelor’s but because I had a mental breakdown and had to focus on my child’s well being instead of my future. The poor can do everything in their power to gain access to better opportunities and better quality of life but most don’t have the same amount of support or resources to keep them afloat during a crisis. Investing has still never been an option for me financially. When you spend most of your life working for a paycheck that disappears when you cash it... it isn’t due to laziness or budgeting... minimum wage & full time hours covers the basic necessities of life. I ended up becoming homeless for 8 months as a single parent. Shelters had waiting lists, housing assistance was my outsourcing. I had to move counties to gain access for housing assistance through a program that required weekly meetings for a month to qualify. Then it took 2 months and help to find a landlord willing to reduce rent by $5.00 so my voucher allotment would be accepted. (Most apartments that don’t even have hook ups for a washer and dryer.... exceed the amount of assistance provided for housing.) I got back on the bandwagon for a year trying to work my way up... employed for almost a year then I break my ankle by tripping. Right after I’m cleared for work COVID hits. Any progress made, once again it’s lost. And I’m starting from the bottom again...
Don't rich people already have money to take risks? They don't have to wait for the green light, they can pay off the fine for running the red light 10x over without feeling that loss financially, which we know has links to your mentality. Imma watch the rest of the video before I get really upset, as it might have tips that can help me.
DBR Liamg When people say "scientifically proven" it suggests that there are definite put away in the cupboard answers in science. Even the most solid theories we have should be described as "scientifically suggested/shown." In my biology course, we would get points off short answers if we said "proven." I wasn't trying to drag them, it's just a common thing people do that betrays a subtle misunderstanding science.
Can you do a video on subscriptions/membership programs. Streaming, gyms, clubs, product bundles etc. Which are a true value? Is it cheaper to just buy your shows/products outright?
I know wealthy people and most wealthy people do not follow any of the advice in her previous videos, so why is she speaking for them here? I was born wealthy and I'm sick of wealthy people being praised when most wealthy people are not wealthy because they are more careful, but because of luck. That includes either being born into money or raised with a good education that enables them to earn without excessive debt. Most wealthy people earn more, they do not spend less. She seems to be focused on highly entrepreneurial types, something she should highlight in the title.

Definitely some good tips in there... one that made me thing was I should really get my groceries delivered, I always think it's lazy and I should just do it myself but I have a lot of chronic pain and anxiety that there's limited days I want to go food shopping.... therefore in reality I end up spending more on delivery food or not eating then getting groceries delivered which would be much more healthier.

Although I agree that you should know when to take breaks from working hard, you shouldn’t ever feel like you “deserve” to spend a large amount of money if it’s something you can’t afford.
What can someone who is both being educated and employed in education do to pick up extra income? There are lapses between the terms, and it is hard to steadily have a 9-5 job when classes might have to be during that window.
My mom is a teacher and she would always take on a student or 2 to tutor when she needed to make a bit of extra money. It can be done during school session as well as over the summer.
Education is probably one of the easiest professions to make extra money doing! You can tutor - there are programs where you can tutor students online or you could tutor locally!
Status looks great, but unfortunately I think it only works if you're in the US. I'd be interested to know if there's a similar service for people who live elsewhere (like the UK!)
Great video!! I'm great at saving money and being smart at it, but really should outsource things I hate like cleaning the house. I also tend not to do the things I should do to recharge because I'm either trying to get things done or trying to save every last penny! I love your practical money tips and information :-)
Very good tips! I like the one about hiring people or outsourcing things that truly take way too much time up or are very pesky. This is something I'm working on doing with my videos currently - I'm looking into the price to have them all close captioned since doing it myself is laborious and very long!
what you think of when you picture a poor person is the lower middle class^^ i can "chose" between buying food for 1 week(3 balanced meals) or medicine when get sick save money for 2-5 months to "invest" in clothing or in a perennial food source and other people decide what i spend my time on and what it´s worth [if i´m lucky i actually get something to do(for 2,5€/h), if not i stare at a wall(for 1€/h) so i´m officially "employed"] how do i just go and lern a language without the 60€/h that will cost or even hire someone to clean for me??

Love your videos- very knowledgeable ! Please don't assume all of us are young. I an a mature woman and have gotten a lot of common sense from this channel.
I think it would be really useful to define what "wealthy" means in this context. There's a difference between acting "wealthy" with your money and being rich, and there seems to be a lot of confusion with that in the comments.

quick advice.
next time filming a person wearing glasses, use a defuser instead of ring light. If you diont have a defuser just use a shower curtain or a white sheet in front of your light. It will help loose this terrible effect when the ring light align with presenters glasses and eyes.

This is hard to digest as someone who has only experienced financial stability for a 5 year period in life that I was blessed with a inheritance of 10k to invest in myself.. I was able to buy a used car, then to fix that used car when it broke down not long after. I paid off previous debt I couldn’t afford to get my license back and my first queen size bed from a charity. I also had to buy basic furniture and household items for my apartment and better quality stuff for my daughter (single parent). I saved, used my 1st credit card to only cover my car insurance policy for 6 months and then used my student loans to buffer monthly bills, credit card payments and maintaining adequate budgeting... Between the cost of living, my part time job, full time student, daycare, etc. I worked my credit up and had savings for emergency and for my daughter... But with no support system and rent prices rising exponentially toppled with trying to navigate my daughter’s sexual trauma that occurred... things quickly fell apart.
See when your poor... If you stop at any point before being able to make it to “the peak height of a rollercoaster “ 🎢.... well you fall as fast as a skydiver free falling to earth. I spent years and years of hard work... was a few terms (4 classes) away from graduating with a bachelor’s but because I had a mental breakdown and had to focus on my child’s well being instead of my future.
The poor can do everything in their power to gain access to better opportunities and better quality of life but most don’t have the same amount of support or resources to keep them afloat during a crisis.
Investing has still never been an option for me financially. When you spend most of your life working for a paycheck that disappears when you cash it... it isn’t due to laziness or budgeting... minimum wage & full time hours covers the basic necessities of life.
I ended up becoming homeless for 8 months as a single parent. Shelters had waiting lists, housing assistance was my outsourcing. I had to move counties to gain access for housing assistance through a program that required weekly meetings for a month to qualify. Then it took 2 months and help to find a landlord willing to reduce rent by $5.00 so my voucher allotment would be accepted.
(Most apartments that don’t even have hook ups for a washer and dryer.... exceed the amount of assistance provided for housing.)
I got back on the bandwagon for a year trying to work my way up... employed for almost a year then I break my ankle by tripping. Right after I’m cleared for work COVID hits. Any progress made, once again it’s lost. And I’m starting from the bottom again...
Don't rich people already have money to take risks? They don't have to wait for the green light, they can pay off the fine for running the red light 10x over without feeling that loss financially, which we know has links to your mentality. Imma watch the rest of the video before I get really upset, as it might have tips that can help me.

Yep, same. Or “research shows” is another cringe- worthy phrase.
DBR Liamg When people say "scientifically proven" it suggests that there are definite put away in the cupboard answers in science. Even the most solid theories we have should be described as "scientifically suggested/shown." In my biology course, we would get points off short answers if we said "proven." I wasn't trying to drag them, it's just a common thing people do that betrays a subtle misunderstanding science.
Also "research shows" is correct, though I think it can sound vague and make one wonder "what research?" and "where are your sources?"
Yes, maybe better would be, "scientific evidence supports..."
Can you do a video on subscriptions/membership programs. Streaming, gyms, clubs, product bundles etc. Which are a true value? Is it cheaper to just buy your shows/products outright?

I know wealthy people and most wealthy people do not follow any of the advice in her previous videos, so why is she speaking for them here? I was born wealthy and I'm sick of wealthy people being praised when most wealthy people are not wealthy because they are more careful, but because of luck. That includes either being born into money or raised with a good education that enables them to earn without excessive debt. Most wealthy people earn more, they do not spend less. She seems to be focused on highly entrepreneurial types, something she should highlight in the title.

Definitely some good tips in there... one that made me thing was I should really get my groceries delivered, I always think it's lazy and I should just do it myself but I have a lot of chronic pain and anxiety that there's limited days I want to go food shopping.... therefore in reality I end up spending more on delivery food or not eating then getting groceries delivered which would be much more healthier.

I understand that sponsorship is a big part of keeping the site going but I wonder if it would be helpful for you to find a specific length of time that you talk about the product. At the moment, I would say it's too long.

What can someone who is both being educated and employed in education do to pick up extra income? There are lapses between the terms, and it is hard to steadily have a 9-5 job when classes might have to be during that window.
My mom is a teacher and she would always take on a student or 2 to tutor when she needed to make a bit of extra money. It can be done during school session as well as over the summer.
Education is probably one of the easiest professions to make extra money doing! You can tutor - there are programs where you can tutor students online or you could tutor locally!

Great video!! I'm great at saving money and being smart at it, but really should outsource things I hate like cleaning the house. Very good tips! I like the one about hiring people or outsourcing things that truly take way too much time up or are very pesky. This is something I'm working on doing with my videos currently - I'm looking into the price to have them all close captioned since doing it myself is laborious and very long!

and other people decide what i spend my time on and what it´s worth
[if i´m lucky i actually get something to do(for 2,5€/h), if not i stare at a wall(for 1€/h) so i´m officially "employed"]
