All I could think of during this delightful narration was how Robert E., along with other great science fiction authors from back in the day like JRR, would dunk on the writers modern day Hollywood employs these days. Unfortunately, Conan and Kull are simply the antithesis of ideological modernity... I think that makes me love these stories all the more!
Awesome! This story is filled with such murderous intent that Conan & Valeria just keep leaping from the frying pan 🍳 to a bigger, more intense fire 🔥 with every move!
My first Conan book! I have DEVOURED it. I knew these were classics but never thought they would be my cup of tea, I had no idea! Time for another one, thank you for uploading ☺️
Bro dark sun for dnd mixed with a little conan setting makes for a badass campaign. Listening to "grim dark half" off on conan lore is one of my favorites to check out
I grew up in the 80's reading fantasy books, lord of the rings, the belgariad, terry pratchett and many others. Watched Conan the barbarian films. But never knew there was a series of conan books. When were these written? Thouroughly enjoying the audiobook.
The story that made me realize they did REH dirty in the movies. Conan in the stories was eloquent, intelligent, braggy, and a whirlwind in battle. Konahn in the movies...................apparently got his tongue ripped out by some kitty cat.
Robert E Howard's interesting stories. Part frat party, part comparing everyone to animals, part interesting, semi unpredictable story. I do wish he'd leave dumb women to their terrible fates, but thats not entirely heroic.

Robert E. Howard's greatest Conan story in my opinion.
Another Conan classic. Thank you.

Beautifully read, I just can't imagine Conan with such a cultured middle class accent though! 😂
Thank you for CONAN!!!!
I read it as a child. How I wish some producers decided to make a true Conan movie franchise.

I used this as background for a DnD Dungeon years ago.
Epic
I read some of these back in the day,
There's only one author of the Conan series Right?
The original author is Robert E. Howard, however there have been many derivative works by others since then.
he laughed and flexed his biceps...Come here wench ! 😂
