About Austin City Limits
Austin City Limits (ACL) offers viewers unparalleled access to featured acts in an intimate setting that provides a platform for artists to deliver inspired, memorable, full-length performances. The program is taped live before a concert audience from The Moody Theater in downtown Austin. ACL is the longest-running music series in American television history and remains the only TV series to ever be awarded the National Medal of Arts. Amazing player no doubt. The Top Hat solo was way overdone and too damn much for this particular song. We know you’re a great player, more often than not, less is more. Anderson’s solo fit the song and the vibe 100%

I remember meeting him in Mellow Mushroom in Murfreesboro, TN around 2008 I guess. He was just a local guy but his sound was amazing even then (although different). We worked on our albums with the same producer at one point, and I got his Closing Credits album. Me and my wife (then GF) would listen to it a lot. I thought he would make it big. Ahhh, the old days.
