Oscar Outdoors Of course brother. I love fishing Espada Park. I used to buy rooster tail lures at the nearby Wal Mart and spent many weekends fishing there. Awesome channel.
Isaiah Quintana my best day there was 15 bass and 5 perch. All small fish nothing big. I was using micro crank baits and rooster tails. It was really awesome though.
River bottoms constanly change due to wildlife, current, weather and of course human intervention. I do my best to practice conservation. Appreciate the view and comment.
Badass day. I'm the one with the hat. Guy making video is my brother. That crazy bastard can catch fish in any water! He never fails. Subscribe and check him out!
Love watching you guys fishing in my neighborhood. Such great inner city fishing in San Antonio. Carp are so much fun. Everything from releasing the snake and turtles correctly, caching keeper cats, etc. It’s a great video except for one fucking thing…fuck, fuck, fuckity fuck and shit. Too bad no kids can watch this. Really guys. C’mon now. Control your mouth if you’re going to post this to RUclips,
Hehehe. I know right. My channel ain't for the kiddos really. It's for the grown ups. Enjoy! I got new videos out on my channel go check them out. I appreciate you watching.
Johan Parra yeah brother, i try not to eat them from at least this stretch of the river. But youll be surprised what you can survive on if you have to.
It would be big tilapia. Some catfish. Crawfish and turtles. Soft shell and hard shell. Even those sucker fish. And of course we would find stuff people would throw down there
Thanks for stopping by my channel @Oscaroutdoors,i appreciate it.This was a great video .Wow that was a while back i remember when they were re-doing espada, man i go to espada almost every morning bro wether to catch bait and fish before i get my day started.I was there this morning,i live 2 minutes at the most from espada bro.Great work👍🏼🐟🇨🇱

@@frankietorres5442 Dang, Theres so many good spots. Medina river, San antonio river run through pretty good. I might hit small ponds for sunfish though. Check out the other content on my channel let me know what you think.
Awesome video man. I drove down there with my son a couple weekends ago but could not find that open area along the river bank. Is it on the other side of the of Espada park? All we saw was tall grass between the jogging trail and the river. Thanks man.
Man, I live down the street from here. Didn’t know the fish were that big. Might want to hit up the area one day since I haven’t had a chance to hit the coast lately. Thanks for the video.

Medium/heavy Shakspear spin cast rod and reel, 10-15lbs test fishing line, and assortment of baits, lures, hooks, sinkers and stuff, some sort of net or trap to catch live bait quickly, white bread and if you want, a bucket and a bag pack. Drinking water and something to munch out on.
I apologize! That's the raw nature of the channel, its intended for mature viewers. Please dont let it stop you from watching my other videos, they might not be so vulgar. Thank you for the comment, and advice taken.
You should back down to that same spot and see about nabbing a gar. That section where you caifht the cat and carp is full of em. Harder to get to though, they lined that whole area with rocks.
SHIT, NOT ON THAT LIGHT AS TACKLE HE HAD IT ON, THAT CARP RAN MORE THAN 50' TO OUR LEFT OVER OUR OTHER LINES AND HE WANTED TO BULL DOG IT IN. HAHAHA! NOT ON 8LBS LINE.
I saw the pics at the end? I caught one out there on a rooster tail, but he escaped before I could get a pic. I've seen some big gator gar roll out there.
Roger Gutierrez look for fast running water then fish the slack water down stream of that. Use light to medium tackle. The fish are everywhere so target a specific species and go for that.
Haha. Not really, in the same family though! In the late winter and early spring the carp turn bright orange golden color. Kinda like a giant river goldfish!. Thanks for the comment.
YEP, A DOLLAR LOAF OF WHITE SANDWICH BREAD MIVED WITH A LITTLE OF THE WTAER YOUR FISHING IN AND MIX IT INTO A PLAYDOUGH CONSISTENCY ABOUT THE SIZE OF A JUMBO MARBLE.

He got tangled cuz u told him go left....He went over the rod or rods to the left an then u went back under left..Just let him do his thing...Fishing ain't hard u kno...
Hahaha. That was his first and biggest carp! He was fighting it on very light tackle too. I know my brother and he'll try to bulldoze it in and end up popping the line. Hahaha, for some people its hard bro. Check out my other videos man when you get the chance. I appreciate the comment.

When you drive in the entrance to Espada Park, the falls are to the right before you cross the bridge over the river.

Where’s the dam
Off military Dr. Gotta drive in. I appreciate you watching. Check.my channel or more stuff!
The round headed fish is either a Redhorse or a White Sucker. They are similar to carp and are bottom feeders.
Looks like fun. The San Antonio river is one of the most polluted waters due that it carries the animal waste from the local zoo on a daily.
THOUGHT CARP ARE TRASH FISH
People used to call them that. They get eaten in other countries a lot. I like them for the fight! Thanks for watching.
I wouldn’t recommend eating fish from there
Johan Parra yeah brother, i try not to eat them from at least this stretch of the river. But youll be surprised what you can survive on if you have to.
Hogging all the fish is bs! Leave some for the rest of us the family n excitement to have !
I use to go into pioneer river downtown and catch by hand when they would open the dam.
What do you hand grab? Flatheads and stuff?
It would be big tilapia. Some catfish. Crawfish and turtles. Soft shell and hard shell. Even those sucker fish. And of course we would find stuff people would throw down there
Fished the riverwalk today by grayson st caught some monster tilapia with my net! Been searching for more spots to fish thanks for the upload!

This is like a 10 minute walk from my house. I should definitely go to fish.
