    Personal Notes:
    8:00L 9:03 17:35 19:10 27:45
    position vector starts from origin
    unit vector has only direction and one mag. (
    u=v/IIvII or v=u.IIvII (vec= mag.dir)
    (One line is a bit more ambiguous because it's also used specifically for the absolute value (bhannat maths?)
    Double lines indicate a norm, a special case of the above notation, when the object inside is a vector.)
    35:57 (unit vector check)
    if vector=
    mag of vec=sqrt(Vx^2 +Vy^2)
    36:47 Standard Unit Vectors(i,j,k)
    i= --> x coord system has mag of 1 ( cz still a unit vector bt a stndrd one)
    j -->y " "
    k= -->z " " " "
    38:25 Ex. 40:30 (stndrd unit vec.s makes calc.s ez)
    42:50L
    45:20
    47:00Problem 49:27 50:27 51:22VIP (coz the standard for measuring angle is anticlockwise)
    53:10VIP [always graph the vector from origin even the second one instead of from the head of the 1st one ( do it later)]

    You are such an excellent teacher. Although I'm just curious, in question 6 I thought |v|=√73 and θ3=180+θ? 🤔 That was not what you wrote... You remain the best teacher I know.

    Thanks. Very helpful video but I have a question:
    If the vector's direction is represented by its slope/gradient and its magnitude is represented by the vector's length (a number). What does it mean when you represent a vector in the form ?
    Does it just represent how high and far it moved? because I thought was what represented the vector's direction.

    • @woofwoof262

      The notation also includes the direction. If both x and y components positive, say , then the direction will be up and right, if u plot it. If it's , then it's down and left. So basically northeast for 1st one, and southwest for second one. Hope that helps if u still need it
