Love watching Allen and Tattar in the same group; and the Geese are the best : ) They make me laugh quite often
These ladies know how to throw, amazing round for Allen and Tattar is top tier. GGs,ladies.
Thank you Hot Geese. This was really great!
I keep on enjoying you two bringing the fun commentary to this wonderful game.Keep up the great work.
I have a feeling these 4 are going to be on many lead cards together in the future
Women's disc golf has come so far in the last few years. Now everyone on the lead card has fantastic skills, and they are all brilliant to watch.
Thanks, as always, to everyone at Jomez, for the top quality coverage.
Nice work everyone.
Well deserved win :)
Great coverage and commentary, as usual. Thanks, Honk!
Congrats to Catrina! Thanks for the great coverage!
Much better trophy than a belt buckle.
Fun card to watch - some good back and forth. Congratulations ladies. Honk!
Way to go, Catrina!!
Congratulations Cat! She deserves it. She's an incredibly hard worker and is crazy talented. Something no one mentioned is the fact she's ripped! You know she works her butt off in the off season! I'm super happy for her.
Jomez going to Europe, with "next day coverage" available 2 weeks later on Disc Golf Network????
Sooooo, is it "next day coverage?" or is it "available in 2 weeks behind DGN paywall??? or both?
I've only been keeping track of the sport for a couple of years but it's cool to see someone in the lead throwing DGA discs. I don't think I've seen that before...and with Cole Redalen having the hot round on the men's side too.
LET'S GOOO
Loved the 90's Spears reference Erika!
grats catrina!
Great card. Bummer Erika won't play the next elite series in Norway. Hopefully Jomez will have Maddison with Macie again with the play by play next day
@@Dr.Acula76 You've got to be a fan of the show Scrubs with that handle.
Kat - Love ❤️ the dress!
Good for Catrina all the way around!!!!!!!!
Such a good watch. Thanks geese. Honk. Also, can we fix mad’s mic so it doesn’t buzz so much?
Jomez has done the European Open before, they just did it for The SpinTV and not their own channel.
She’s awesome
Catrina !!
Hooooonk!
Great coverage Geese!! Great to see Catrina fighting for women’s sports!!!!
Can someone explain to me how Hole 18 for the Women is the hardest hole but it's like the easiest hole for the Men? I am not even saying it should be the easiest for the FPO but how is it the hardest?
It's just simply the difference in driving distance between fpo and mpo. Mpo can get near the green in 2, fpo does it in 3.
I think it was just the angles. Wysocki and a couple others were able to go straight across, which gave them like a 500 foot water carry which is scary and intimidating as hell but since they were throwing 600 (lol) it gave them plenty of landing space on the other side. The women had to play it as a triangle because they don't have 600, which actually added distance for them. And since more of the women were coming into the fairway from the side it made the OB come into play more for them...they had a shorter landing space that way. And then the second water crossing probably hit exactly where most of them would've landed on their second shots. Kat tried to get there in 2 and came close but ended up OB. Ricky was also getting to the green in 2 throws on the 1111' hole, the guys are just getting insane right now.
Love Cat standing up for fairness, and sporting the flag. Congrats!
Congratulations to Kevin Jones taking down the win!!
Honk!!!!
....
... Catrina Allen is my favorite player of all time so proud of her taking this down
Am I missing how difficult 15 is? 360-360-putt. Am I missing something?
Congrats to Catrina, and props for speaking up.
Congratulations to Catrina for having the courage to speak up for fairness in women’s sport and to follow that up with a wire to wire victory.
If you think the results of this one tournament disprove the existence of biological advantages, you understand neither golf nor science.
3 Birdies in row with an eagle is a “TURKEAGLE”!!! I’m #1
FPO players are bombing! 28:12 foot fault tho... 🤫
correct. but that type of thing is going to happen until they start employing judges/referees who call players out instead of just waiting for players to call each other out. it's 100% amateur hour out there.
@@420troll4 Yup, I was thinking about the same.
Footfault warriors are the bottom feeders of our sport.
@@waynebryant1857 why have rules if you're not going to enforce them?
@@420troll4someone watching hours of videos to see foot faults is the best definition of a loser.
I can't believe Catrina is sponsored by the Wisconsin Dairy Goat Association.
That's funny!!!😅😅😅

these look like respectable scores. have the women gotten that much better or have they started making the courses easier?
Course has only got harder😮
@@mkmrtn952 no way have the courses gotten harder and the ladies are now double digits under par. i remember watching tournaments LAST YEAR where the "leaders" were all over par. I think they've made the courses easier so that the women's game is actually watchable.
Not true at all. Courses are harder and longer. The women’s game is going through the roof with talent and depth.
You're so aptly named, troll. Of course your question is rhetorical, as you answer it yourself in your reply - proving you weren't asking a question, just looking to be obnoxious. Big question is really, are you still beating your SO?
@@420troll4 came here to claim that the league was coddling the women and didn't get the response you were looking for, huh
A roller that goes far? A Doobie.
'Fighting for fairness in our division' - keep fighting the good fight and never succumb to the mob
Honk! 🥳
Disliking the Prodigy baskets! So many bounce outs and spits. Same in the MPO, Burr lost his mind on those!
Honk!
What the fuck, european open, but 2 weeks later…
seems so insincere to paint someone as a massive threat to you and then dominate them by 21 strokes, wish people would try to be more inclusive of an already marginalized community
Easy to be inclusive when the person in question lost. Wonder if you would feel different if the podium primarily trans players. Catrina is fighting to protect the fairness of the Female division today and in the future.
@@tomperezcpa That same trans player won at Maple Hill last year
Once again, It is never how good or bad the other person is playing. It's about what it could potentially do to the FPO field in the long run. That's the threat. Got to nip it in the bud now before it gets out of control. Also, what about the other women close to or near that persons score. Still could be taking cash or spots in other tournaments away from other women.
the strongest are suppose to fight for the weakest. If only the weaker speak up, they're called poor sport bad players that need to practice more.
Well then, I hear there is a division called MPO. (Mixed Players Open). Problem solved incredibly easy. Thank you. Next.
How many events has Catrina won alone? How many has any trans athlete won ever? They’re just not a threat to “the fairness” of competition, to paint it any other way is foolish, and I completely understand the difficulty of trans athletes competing in female divisions of sports. Disc golf is not a brute force / raw strength sport. If it was, the men you see winning would all be ultra jacked weight lifters instead of the lanky people that they mostly are. Ella out throws everyone on tour in the FPO and hasn’t won yet, including out-throwing all the trans athletes that have ever competed. So is brute force or raw strength a clear advantage in disc golf? No. Does brute strength mean you automatically throw far? No. Does throwing far even win you tournaments alone? No. Is it an advantage if you can? Of course but Natalie Ryan doesn’t even have the kind of distance that would qualify as a distinct advantage, she throws the same distance other FPO players throw. Who won the tournament, the person who throws the farthest? No. So in order for any of these arguments to deny trans athletes a legal right to play, they would have to be the farthest throwers which they’re not, or have some other material advantage that would bear out statistically vs bigots and douche bags just hating, which the trans athletes ultimately don’t have. This is aside from the “feminist” argument that women are the inferior weaker sex being the prevailing underpinning of any argument to deny trans athletes a right to play, which is a pretty shitty way to sell this. Like your claiming women’s rights by saying women are inherently unequal, weak and inferior…that doesn’t work. Let alone, she could have accepted her win gracefully and graciously and chose to call people out. So I can’t say I’m a fan.
TLDR
Imagine playing in MPO your entire career and suddenly getting mad you can't play in the protected FPO division simply because you don't want to play in MPO anymore.
A sound mind's position is based in concrete logic and has nothing to do with how many events anyone has won. A feelings based mind may only focus on the latter. If you went through a male puberty, your body has natural physical advantages over someone whose body did not go through male puberty.
She accepted her win with a ton of emotion and gave her acceptance speech and opinion. I did not hear her call anyone out specifically of course we could all make a fair assumption of who we think it is about but that doesn’t matter. Sorry you can’t be a fan and appreciate a great overall game.
@@ViJt-oq5nq Imagine thinking someone is changing their body and entire identity to play in FPO
Catrina played an excellent tournament. However, I lost a lot of respect for her when she misgendered Natalie Ryan. There is an important discussion happening about the rights of trans people to participate in sports and people have the right to present evidence about fairness in competition. However, undermining a person's fundamental humanity in the process is unnecessary and harmful.
Cope.
Catrina proving why her fight is pointless lmao Great tourney though
Wild that Catrina managed to win even though the big scary trans woman was in the same tournament as her. Its almost like Natalie doesn't have any insane advantage just from being trans?
If you evidence for a lack of advantage is final score, you need to graduate from preschool into kindergarten. A feelings based mind is quickly turned to jell-o.
